i had this same situation literally 2 days ago. i got emails about my account email and password being changed then my phone number was removed. it was pretty obvious it was hacked cause the new email was just a bunch of letters and numbers. i contacted live support and they escalated the case, i found an email saying they perma suspended the account and i lost everything on it, do you know any ways to get around this and get my stuff back cause thats the dumbest policy ever.

@@Airmelee try going to contact us - Microsoft support ,go to expanded list of products, go to outlook, click “get home support”
put in “can’t login” ,enter ,then click “contact support”
then select “Microsoft 365 and office” and “technical support”
After that you will be redirected to real agent and ask them to contact account and billing department, state your request
They will ask you questions, I suggest you ask them to send file share link for you to send more info like screenshots, email changed notifications, personal note in pdf, etc
they will mostly escalate your case to a higher part and will take them around a week
An ambassador said most of the problem will be resolved as they take account problem in their hand very seriously
Mine is in process at the time I type this I will also update if I get it done or not

how the fuck am i supposed to change my password when ive lost acces cuz password and email is changed
and it asked for a verification first in order to join a vc. I did the verification and the next day my email and password was changed. I contacted microsoft support and they “escalated” the report. I see everyone is saying they just ban the microsoft account. Which sucks because I spent alot of money on my Xbox account and on Hypixel. Since my pc is also associated with my microsoft account my onedrive is not even loading. Pretty much everything I have in onedrive,my xbox, and my mincraft account is gone since its connected to my microsoft account. Pretty terrible on microsofts end to just ban the account thought rather than giving me back what clearly mine. It doesnt matter how much I explained to them that It wasnt me that changed my email. Now I just have to hope they will give it back? Thats crazy…. Now I have to start all over again with a new microsoft account. Lessen learned. Dont trust people online. Dont “verify” yourself into discord servers that look suspicious. Or you will end up like me and many other people….
Same things happened to me, I was playing dungeons and someone wanted me to join a c and the server needed verification and I didn’t even go to the email and click any links I just got the code from the notification on my phone and I didn’t even use the server after that but what do you know everything gone. They linked my account to a parent account so it’s still there but I can’t do anything with jt and when I try to log in it says it doesn’t exist then when I try to make a new account with the same email it said someone already has that account

@@matteob-meijer8590 from what I’ve read, they won’t do anything besides ban the account and there’s no hope to get the account back, it sucks tbh but I made a new account and got Minecraft again and I’m already like lvl 40 on skyblock. I’m farther in 2 weeks on this account than I got on the old one in like 5 months lol but some advice for you is change the passwords of any accounts linked with that email and change the email aswell to one you can use
Bro i feel with you. I was looking for a dungeons party on hypixel, joined a dc did the verification thing and in the end cause im a dufus i lost both my microsoft accounts and i cant get shit back to working and since im an idiot before my windows was in synch with my microsoft account so i cant even login to windows anymore (still working on fixing that issue by creating a new microsof account and then after getting a clean install make it a complete local pc again). Sadly compared to you i cant even get in touch with the support :( and worse the hypixel support dosnt even ban my mc account

Don't use passwords, use biometric recognition with your smartphone, thumbprint

Hi, the best thing to try if you are unable to access your account is to contact Microsoft support, they should be able to help you with the issue.

well same issue but i discoverd if it tells you that your email is not existing u just use the name u used without the @outlook and then proceed a recovery form :)

now they are saying xbox support might be able to transfer my account info for some things but they just won't connect me to them
If your account get suspended, you can ask them to transfer the info of that account to a new one of yours

@@PbeingXD i have a friend that his account was stolen and the hacker reset everything and deleted the security. When my friend tries to login it says the microsoft account you have entered does not exist

We need to get a refund of all things is Microsoft can't figure this out - it's stupid how this major company can't help any of us!!!

Whoever does this is just crazy, Microsoft is powerful, they find the pirate, inform his government of his country and put him in prison.
Something keeps trying to log into my account email for microsoft it repeatedly try and eventually it gets the password right... i have 2FA other wise 2 times now it would have been hacked.. how and why would someone keep doing this?
Hello,
This sounds like a technique hackers have been using recently called "2fa notification spam". We have made a video about this method. Essentially, the hacker will attempt to log into your account and keep trying until you accept the login through your authentication app.
The best thing for you to try is to change your usernames and passwords if possible, your current details must've been leaked somewhere.
