Gorgeous piece. What an honor to be able to be asked, create, and present such a nice tribute to the unit! It will be cherished. I’m with you, hope they don’t cover the wood with labels of the honored men. Maybe they will want a display for the piece that the honored recipients labels can be on the display instead of the piece. I love your labels. What kind of business makes the labels?

Being a gardener the only time I get near wood is when I have to build a frame or do a repair! I've watched this video three times and I'm no less amazed by your skill now than I was before I watched it. My preference is for more burls, if you don't mind. I love the look after they're oiled/waxed.
Thank you for posting your videos. 👍👍👏👏🏴🏴
@@frankmurphy2776 thanks for sharing and your suggestion. More burls to follow in future projects - hope you won't be Disappointed? 😃🪵👍
Outstanding work very jealous can you tell me the wood being used cheers

Pretty awesome piece!!!
This turned out incredible Harry, great job!
Many thanks David, I couldn't believe how lucky I was with the grain, colour and tones within the Ash, take care my friend ... 🪵😃👍
Many thanks JP, I'm glad you liked it, did you have a favourite part of the turn?
The coins are available online, have a Google 🪵😃👍
