Yo Jaja, carry on with this part of your journey because this is inspiration. I mean that from the heart. When I was 16 in Brixton I wouldn't even understand what you were saying. But now I am in my mid-twenties, I see the message and understand it. Peace
i think they missed a trick when they started talking about the rasta movement in the 80's it did a massive amount of damage to our communities, and to the mentality of second generation of young black men back then, they promoted the idea of not working for the white man, they promoted the smoking of gangja which wasn't as prevelent among their parents generatinon as most would think and which turns a lot of people into wasters, the idea of having lots of children was also massively encouraged, the problem was most of these young men didn't have the maturity or financial means to pay for and look after these children, the things promoted at that time as a positive moves for our communities are the negative things that we are now fighting against 30 odd years later,
jaja ur to good man but theres to much music dats leading youths astray ur favourite rapper is a role model u like what message the r giving but its wrong and working in a 9to 5 job is a wateman ting these days but really its the best option do good and good thing will come to u
Loving the unity , but would be better to unite everyone , we stand strong as one and weaken when divided , we are all one in GODS eyes and was divided by the devil
Asalaam alaikum (peace be upon u). I have seen many of jaja sozes mudic videos and short documentaries. You really Are inspirational and very determined in encouraging the youth to follow the right path. How can we change the world if we cannot change ourselves?. I pray you acheive whatever hopes and dreams u have. Insha allah. You are right, life aint like how it use to be. Now beef happen over any little thing.
Woooooow! You went in jaja. Time to start looking into solutions. This is a good man. #positivityISContagious #Community #Unity #Unite&Overcome # BlackLove #Progression
Stop blaming others and you will stop giving your power away. Start taking personal responsibility, forgive, learn and become wise and you will retain your power and grow. Very basic, simple things.
TELL ME WHERE DO WE GO FROM HERE TELL ME WHY MUST I SHED A TEAR THE GHETTO IS A JUNGLE BUT I CALL IT HOME...OI DONT PISS ME OFF BIG UP JAJA HIS DOING GOOD IM TELLING YOU AND HIS GOT AN INFLUENCE
A lack of a middle class black community has been a major blow. Black communities are mainly in deprived areas. Middle of the day you can go Harlesden for example and see working age black men outside the shops doing f all with themselves, smoking weed and drinking when the majority of white people are at work. This has a negative effect to the young boys and teens seeing this shit on a day to day basis
problem, present, and future ...baam thats hw u do a documentary...remmeber rome wasnt built in a day..the olders can lay a brick, the yutes can build it and hopefully the future generation will can enjoy the fruits of unity ....UNITED WE STAND..DIVIDED WE FALL.peace
This was an excellent documentary and black and african people have to understand that economical education and the right use of it is the way forward to having our community, culture, identity and other common attributes black...we must...
Big up soze, too much I could say about this excellent documentary, thanks for giving ppl a REAL insight to Us...Nuff love for this as a handsworth Don, big up sherrif & rest of da 21 mandem Bu Du Dup!
Who was the guy in the grey blaming YOUR generation? 'I blame YOU' he said. I am sick to death of these older generations acting as though they are in no way responsible for any of the madness wah gwarn.
+RRRHelllNoooo He's right though. His generation were the first generation of carribean immigrants & if you know any first-gen immigrants, you'll know they had a much stronger idea of community & family....because they had to stick together in a strange foreign land. The younger generations don't have the sense of community as England-life is all they know...
+supahdupahguy81 that has nothing to do with it really. THEY the ELDERS have failed to create opportunities for their OWN children. In fact, a lot of them have even failed to be around for their kids period (talking bout d men mostly there). I expect many of them felt powerless under the racist system them had to endure when they came here. they came here without a plan and have ended up just working for white ppl all their life, and building/leaving very little for those after them. and instilling this 'work for everyone else but yourself ' notion. leaving the next generation to build from scratch. they haven't built much if anything for the generations after them. you are supposed to create opportunities for your youth. then there would be no need for the kids to go out committing crimes cause they would have more to aspire to be and feel as though their dreams ate achievable. there is no sense of community because the ELDERS didn't instill community in their children. they can't try and turn around now and wonder y their spawns r fucked up. they need to look in the mirror
+RRRHelllNoooo But cuz that just sounds like an excuse like the "broken home" ting. What exactly were they meant to do? These were people who came here with almost nothing & weren't highly educated in most cases.....they had a hard enough time getting jobs themselves, let alone designing some self-sufficiency blueprint for all the generations after. At some point people have to take control of their own destiny & stop asking our parents/grandparents generation to teach us things they probably don't know anything about. I agree that the "work for everyone but yourself" mentality they had is short-sighted, but we do have the ability to find out how to do things ourselves, you don't have to rely on olders or anyone else to show us.....especially these days where we can have almost any information at our fingertips. We need to call it as it is......some yutes are just fuckery. There's a lot of yutes who grow up poor but they don't all end up becoming criminals...
+supahdupahguy81 yes bro this is true, the internet has changed the game entirely and I know they didn't have access to such things, but it's not like certain ideologies and perspectives weren't around before the internet age. Marcus Garvey and ppl similar were around to educate those who were actively looking. there has always been books and libraries which they were not restricted access too when they came. that's not to say that white supremacists did not make things difficult for them. I do understand that they were perhaps did not have as much insight as what we may have, but it is just disappointing. I'm not excusing the fuckery but I won't act as though certain older people should not be held accountable. there are a lot of shit parents out here doing terrible jobs, both those who are around and those who aren't. as much as i don't think the youth fuckery is excusable, i don't feel as though the elders 'ignorance' is either. in many cases these youths are doing what they have seen older ppl do. but then older ppl will wise up and flip the script like they weren't doing the same thing. I know elders who got pregnant at 16 breedin up d place making the same mistake 4 or 5 times choosing worthless men to have them with and will have had the audacity to cuss about young single mothers today and be ashamed of their daughter's who followed in their footsteps like they did anything to really get them away from that. I have also heard older men who run around on some gangsta bullshit selling drugs and partaking in dumb shit with the audacity to turn around and complain about the youth doing it and he had a couple kids that he was not around to help raise. the double standards the elders have is ridiculous and they'll act all self righteous when they are the ones who taught the youth the inappropriate behaviour to begin with. Yet they don't know why the respect is not there
+RRRHelllNoooo You need to watch ja ja soze interviewing Kevin Bennett so you have a better understanding of what Mr Cross was saying. He is not 1st generation either he is 2nd generation his parents would have been first generation. Also back then things were bad when it came to racism and job opportunities hence why the first Brixton riots took place they wasn't tolerating how the police was handling them especially on frontline Brixton. Theres a big difference on how things were in the 70s and 80s to now the olders yes made mistakes but if anything the younger generation including myself should have learnt from. Instead of following the lies and dumbing ourselves down which has happened in every generation since. The older generation were more educated and had core values. Its more than just black and white there are some obvious facts to all of this
Man will watch this n be like yeas hard reh tehh but STILL be on the same fuckry.. Im all for it doe still its all about positivity but its a shame wen da good work people put in can b so quickly overshadowed by another ignorant brother
Imagine I have been promoting these exact things in their entirety to different youts on different estates. Even down to taking them Nandos & hosting parties to keep em preoccupied. It's nice to finally see someone else take their own time, resources & money to get the message out there. Congratulations & God bless. @AvonPhil
We need a Marcus Garvey day but we don't need the government we need to do it off our own back for free if we have to redefine what it is to be black British
Thank you for doing something like this. It really does give an extra insight into the lives of those with that lived that life path. Amazing Work JAJA! x
Thanks for the video, PDC RAP GROUP

100% this is what we need. Educate the youth
knowledge is power
unity can on be based on creed not colour, have a read of the Quran
