Grew up in Kirk Michael with Dave…and his family, was always following his progress, and I’m still to this day , so impressed with his commitment to the sport he loves…I’m only 5 years younger than him….can’t imagine doing what he does at 60….and I have dabbled at road racing in the 90s….I’ve never Told him, but I’ve always wanted to, , that he’s a bloody hero…the passion and commitment he’s put in over 30 plus years is immense….and still the only sidecar driver to win on all 4 top Japanese makes..Honda, Kawasaki, Suzuki & Yamaha…legend doesn’t do him justice…👍👌🇮🇲

What a gentleman - incredible engineer, tradesman and motorcycle racer.
I fear we have lost something for our children growing up now.
Some hardships to get where you want to go are potentially better to help build reresilience and character.

Always been a fan of Dave, right up there with the TT greats. 17 wins given he only gets two races each year is spectacular. I wish him all the luck this year.

Absolute legend ......the drive to keep doing the TT year after year is unbelievable. Doing the TT is one thing but getting there with the right set up is just as tough if not tougher. Massive respect to Dave . Love the old stories great watch.....Hope he gets on the podium again .
