Loved watching this on my line where I am situated, such a great insight as compared to sitting inside the carriage imaging what the driver is seeing.

I know this was a loco hauled trip but that said, I kind of wish there was a separate high drivers cab on railcars, so passengers like me could sit up front and see this view for the whole journey.
I'd pay extra for that. 🤩

I made this trip (return) yesterday (14/12/23) - Dep SC 7.39, Dep Swan Hill 13.35. I was wondering if you were driving but did not want to disturb you at work. Western Australia even has a 120 km dual track main line that's entirely dual gauge because of Australia's gauge mess. It was technically easier to implement at mainline speeds than Victoria's dual gauge track though, because the gap between Narrow Gauge and Standard Gauge is much larger so the tolerances are more generous.
