I have done this trip many times by road and also to Swan Hill. Both destinations a railway construction engineers dream. Track laying and ballast were probably the main logistics, although the closer the proximity to Bendigo it's a case of "Holy increasing, but mild, undulations Batman". A commenter below thought it was a long trip. It's tempting but you can't legally do it in any faster on the road. Many thanks.
I heard an announcement around Epsom about something to do with them having received a warning/report of intruders on the track ahead and they had been instructed to reduce speed.
@neilforbes416 on the serious side how would you like to live at echuca at this time of year weather wise getting high of 13c and getting low of 7c overnight sometimes it can get down to low as minus 3.

Must have been a big match on. Looks like a lot of Footscray supporters in Bendigo heading to the city.
There was a game on that day. 👍😄

I still find it impressive how straight the line is between towns.🤓
Straight and fairly flat. 😄😄👍
Why did the velocity go slow while arriving into Bendigo?
I heard an announcement around Epsom about something to do with them having received a warning/report of intruders on the track ahead and they had been instructed to reduce speed.
Correct, police request due to trespassers on track. 👍😄
Pretty long trip
its an only an hour between two cities if you traveling by car but you add 30 minutes by train travel
Why does the train trip add 30 minutes to the trip?
@@MargaretCampbell583 There are slowing down and stopping at stations, which on average is 2-4 minutes, there are 6 or 7 stations, do the sums.
@@palamco Yes exactly
@@palamco Of Course. I forgot about that. Thanks 😁
