As a biomedical engineer I agree with everything... But salary you can't get that much as a fresher, you need to work for low base Salary for some years and then develop skills then you can earn more... This is a reality... You can't expect salary like 30k+ as a fresher even in big mncs... First you need a skillful hand experience...

@@angelgnanapunitha5173 You can work as application specialist for Ultrasound machine especially Female related procedures but you need to travel to different hospitals. Else you can choose medical coding (for that you can study BSC in any life science group rather than BE).

If you are interested in product development nd deep researchs choose B tech. If you are simply intrested in basic research field you can opt bsc . Bcoz in BTech you get trained in some basic engineering courses which will make you excel in designing pdts etc.

It is important to tell students that jobs in biotechnology and biomedical engineering are not even 1/10th of jobs in software/ IT sector. Only students really interested bin this field should join this course.
If you have already joined, then going abroad is a must - for MS or PhD. Only then will you have good scope.
Merely speaking about "potential" of BT is not enough - what is point of thousands of students studying this and then there are no jobs...
No pranav. It's wrong statement. Afternoon done bsc or b.tech Biotechnology u can go for quality controller in pharma, food and chemical companies. Medical coding, lab technician many jobs are there. After bsc u can do msc in biotechnology is the best one .so don't spread this types of rumours bro.🙏
@@pranavdhanapal5108 Yes I agree. But many Engineers are my friends. Mechanical, cse , software etc. Everyone should get their starting pay scale 25k to 40k only per month. Every field knowledgeable person should get high payscale. I'm currently doing Masters in Biotechnology.

Yeah its useless to pursue this course, one should pursue this course only if their main priority is not earning money and who can afford to go abroad. Always choose mainstream courses in this country; biotechnology, microbiology, etc like subjects may sound fancy and exciting but in reality students are regretting after graduation.
