I know absolutely nothing about the Tour de France, but I really enjoyed this video. The map tracing was very nice, and as always your lovely voice put me right at ease. Thanks for another great video!
The Tour was my go-to for relaxation before I knew what ASMR was (and before ASMR existed as a genre, actually). It's such a great mix of exciting race on the hand, and then hours of just beautiful landscape and the commentators chit-chatting about god and the world - perfect for dozing off on a hot summer's afternoon.
This is cool! I just finished to watch the 2022 Tour de France and loved it. My father used to watch it and at that time I didn’t understand. But in 2014 when i was home from work I started to watch the Vuelta and I discovered how relaxing it is and so beautiful often the landscape is. I began to understand more from the tactics of the team and I started to watch the other 2 big ones,le Tour and the Giro d’Italia❤️ When I lived in Italy I’ve seen the Giro pass by near my home, I remember Il Pirata Pantani and the other runners of that era and I remember especially how fast they we 🚴♀️
Aah same for me, I never got why it was on TV all the time as a kid haha, and then there was one really hot summer and I realized the best thing to do is doze through the tour stages in the afternoon. I really like the spring classics too - like Strade Bianche is just such a beautiful race. I particularly like the light during that time of the year and I always like to imagine the race rings in the beginning of spring haha 💐 Somehow I haven't kept up with any races this year, tho, it's been so busy. Next season again!
I promise I won't, with or without a million views haha. I really love the viewers I have, the amount of positivity here in the comments is so refreshing and motivating. 💖
Hi Melange! There is a Finisterra in north of Spain in the Galicia region. It's the place where the pilgrims finish the Santiago (st. James) route. It was the end of the world for the Roman's...
This Tour in 2021, on the opening stage was the infamous 'Allez Opi-Omi' sign incident...Also I remember the 2014 Tour de France as this was when it started in Yorkshire in the north of England, and had stages down through England to the south coast.
A perfect ASMR subject, a most excellent choice. The tour passed close to my house last year and I was glad to be among the crowds to celebrate. This year, sadly it is too far away. Perhaps in 2022 the cyclists will sweep through my town directly :) In the meantime, I will replay this later to retreat into my slumber. Bonne nuit und Gute Nacht!
Oh wow that's amazing! I would love to have the Tour pass by outside my house, but I don't think the chances are very good haha. Keeping my fingers crossed for you for next year! And I hope you had a good night's sleep :)
@@MelangeASMR It was a marvellous snooze :) You will have to come to France to watch the Tour one day, but there are so many great things in Wien too. I have visited a few times and enjoyed every minute of it. Your map videos have revived my memories. Salzburg is still my favourite though (please don't throw Millirahmstrudel at me, haha). Bis zum nächsten Mal :)
I haven't been able to watch as much as I would have liked, but the stages I caught were amazing. And really happy for Cav! It's so nice to see some guys around I still recognize haha.
I don't know, I guess just "Holzstäbchen". I got them from the arts and crafts section of a book store chain. It was going to be either that or a knitting needle.

Everything as usual is perfect. You are pretty much my favorite channel at this point. Great job.
Oh wow, thank you! I appreciate that very much.
So good to see you back melange! Love the Tour de France too especially when it came through the southeast of England in 1994.
Oh how cool! I remember when the Tour start was in England a couple of years ago and the roads were completely packed, that was pretty impressive.

I want you to get a million views so you never stop making these delightful videos 🥰

Great video, love the tracing and the tour. I've got the same programme going back to 2012.
Thank you! It really is perfect ASMR material, I'm surprised I can't find more videos on it.
Gorgeous as usual! That was my first thought as well - oh wow, this is going to be some excellent map action~
Haha right, I don't know how I hadn't thought of that earlier. Thank you!!
Hi Melange! There is a Finisterra in north of Spain in the Galicia region. It's the place where the pilgrims finish the Santiago (st. James) route. It was the end of the world for the Roman's...
Hey Ines! Oh, that's probably the one I was thinking of, but I didn't know that it's where the Way of St.James ends. What a beautiful coincidence.
God i love your tracing videos.. One of the best! ❤️
Aah thank you, Recky, you're too kind!!
Maybe the same vidéo for this year ? 😊
I now feel silly to admit that I didn't realise the Tour de France was not a continuous race...
Considering how much it is on TV in summer, that's an easy assumption to make haha, but omg that would be so hard 😅

I remember the 2014 one, the photos of the crowds in England were impressive!
There is also a Land's End here in England, the western tip of Cornwall.
Part 2
Oh my, the tingles I'm getting are so intense!!! I love this! 🥰
That makes me very happy, thank you! 🥰😇

Yay thank you!
Très bon accent français !😄 Very good video !
Merci! That's always good to hear haha ☺

Mathilda!!! Thank you 💛🧡❤
what! I thought your channel couldn't get any better and I found this. Biking and asmr. ❤️
Unfortunately I missed the opportunity this year, but maybe I can do another cycling video next season 😄 Glad you enjoyed it!!
@@MelangeASMR I can only watch on telly. You still have Il Giro and La Vuelta, both are beautiful too.
Oh hell yes
I hope you start watching the Tour again. This year has been quite eventful, I have to say.

5:08 Excuse me.. Is that a chopstick in your hand? Or a pen? What does it called?

@@MelangeASMR Thanks for answering :)
You're welcome, I get that question surprisingly often haha
Is it possible to you to record a new video about 2023 edition ? Thank you for your work
Unfortunately I don't think we'll be able to fit one in - June's been so busy, I completely forgot about the TdF :(
You were right about another Finisterre, but is in Galicia (Spain), not in Portugal 😊
Aaah so close!
plz make a map video of Denmark
Can do, it might take a bit, though! I have to learn Danish pronounciation first...
andorra la Vella and Pas de la Casa is in the country of Andorra not Spain. It is small but it is still a country
Ah, sorry about that, thank you for the correction!
