Her answers have obviously been memorized and rehearsed countless times yet she tries to act (and poorly, at that) as though she's just coming up with them on the spot with these pauses as though she's trying to think of an answer despite repeating the scripted internal dialogue she's memorized.. It comes across as very unnatural and at no point does she deviate from this. Richard Ramirez did the same thing in his interviews. Do you actually own content? I thought you only own a pointer to a certain content that is stored in many cases in centralised clouds.
First, yes they own IP rights over their images. Second, the content is normally stored on IPFS which is decentralized, however, some projects use centralized servers in order to be able to control metadata. This can be used for assets that are constantly updated or change over time, that way the process does not cost gas. This is public and you can see this. Its not some secret, so before buying something you can determine it for yourself. “Pointer” is a huge simplification of what hashing is and its purpose.

the issue i see with the whole identity argument... is that it feels like what's being described is escapism which in itself is fine until it becomes obsessive escapism and disconnection from the real world. Without getting into a philosophical argument about reality, i think most individuals would agree that the tangible world, the one you were born to, matters and is what's most real... I can understand that many feel like they drew a bad hand at life and would want to have an outlet to escape and become something else but that needs to be tempered with a way to ground you in reality because without the you in the real world there's no you in the metaverse, your not there, you don't exist.

The most recent land sale for Metaverse, had floor prices of 20k... No one was paying 20k to hang-out in a crappy metaverse, they are planning on flipping it.
