    I remember playing Assassin's Creed so much back n the day. Part 2 with amazing locations. Part 3. George Washington "Red Coats are coming" and my favorites Assassin's Creed Blackflag and Unity. Running the rooftops and traversing fantastic movement of skills and skills made it so badass to master those games. Going into the beauty of the magnificent ancient Japan is really fascinating to combat foes.

    This was my Game of the Year when it came out. TLOU2 won most of the awards but this game was so much fun, and it got me emotional at different points during the game. This will be a really fun playthrough to watch.

    There is no Honor system, except the internal Honor struggle associated with the Samurai Code. Being an Assassin lurking in the shadows isn't something seen as Honorable by the Samurai. Also yes there is Japanese Dialog with subtitles.

    Legends is what the multiplayer portion of the game is called and from my knowledge directors cut is kind of their “game of the year” edition or “complete” edition meaning it has the dlc included which is iki island. I haven’t finished the dlc, but I have got the platinum for this game on the ps5. You should have fun and there’s quite a bit of Easter eggs to other PlayStation franchises if you do some of the side quests.

    You can upgrade your GPU to RTX 4070 or 4070 Super. However, with RTX 4060, you might get a good frametime in 1080P with DLSS Quality. This game looks very pretty even without native resolution. Also, you can get the Iki Island expansion.

    • @VideogameShayPlays
      @VideogameShayPlays  4 месяца назад

      Oh I forgot to mention it’s a 4060ti! So it should be better than a 4070 base?
      I am tapped out for any upgrades atm 😅 I only recently did my computer about 6 months ago so this is the best I can get! From what I am told I can get 2k recording quality with my current setup and I should be able to get 60fps.
      My currently playthroughs to date have all been on the ps4 so I was capped at 1080p and mostly 30fps I’m sure?

    • @rishavgangopadhyay674
      @rishavgangopadhyay674 4 месяца назад

      @@VideogameShayPlays For 1440p resolution, I don't know about the same. You might achieve 60+ FPS in 2K resolution. Btw, is it an 8 Gigabyte or 16 Gigabyte version? But, you can still achieve good frames in 1080P Ultra settings. Just don't use frame generation, as the frame generation in this game is not optimized, and also it comes with a screen flickering issue. Remaining at 1080P DLAA or DLSS Quality, you can achieve the performance as well as quality.

      Ok thanks for the setting tips I’ll be sure to adjust those when I start! I’m running a 16gb 4060ti! From what I was told - this would run better using the PC version vs playing on the PS4

    Try: Ghost Recon Wildlands: if you would be willing to do something more modern, playing as the head of a special ops team in an incredible representation of the entire country of Bolivia, fighting to dismantle the Mexican drug cartel there. The story focuses more on the cartel's bosses in each Provence and many side stories about them. You and your team aren't supposed to even be in the country (hence the "ghosts") yet you feel like you are along for a ride along (like when a camera man rides along with the cops) as you hear yourself and team, crack jokes, light hearted conversation, to them reflecting about "what made the head of the cartel become the monster he is, did he play violent video games?". The world is super beautiful, plenty of stelth. Watch the E3 trailer, and just know that the bloodyness in that great trailer: actually was just in the trailer, the game talks about hard core stuff, but it doesn't even get as graphic as Ghost of Tsushima, because you see blood at a distance: use bullets, not swords. The controls are easy to get used to, and as someone who live over 10 years in México: I can tell you that this is a game with one of more realistic/real life enimies, and back stories.

    Funny you made the correlation between Ghost of (this and God of War) because there is a God of War Easter egg in this game.
    Words of advice, play it true to your feelings with the honor system. Spoiler** you do not have to use stealth tactics. But just enjoy however you play and try to hit as many side quests before you finish the game (preferably)

  • @jspres86
    @jspres86 4 месяца назад +4

    The game doesn't have a strict "honor" system per se. You're still the hero fighting for his homeland. It's more of a reaction to how you play as Jin. Like your mentor says, a samurai faces the enemy head-on with only their sword. No tricks, no sneaking. Face-to-face in pursuit of honor. But whether you choose to fight like that or if you prefer stealth and trick weapons affect how the story goes and how characters react to you. It's a great game, deep gameplay and very beautiful. Plus if you're the poetic type, there's a side activity that might suit you.

  • @stonecoldku4161
    @stonecoldku4161 4 месяца назад +2

    You have the option to play it in with the characters speaking Japanese with English subtitles or with the characters speaking English. There is even a game mode where you can turn it to black and white instead of color so it's more like an old Samurai movie. I recommend playing it in color the first time because the game is beautiful, but I leave it up to you what language the characters are speaking. The voice acting is incredible in both languages.

    Speaking of outfits, you will be able to customize the main character's armor and there are a few special ones that you can unlock that are based on other game franchises. Although you have to do some very specific things at specific locations to unlock them. One of them is a God of War armor. It's hard to explain where those places are and how you unlock them, but there are tutorials online if you get interested.
