@@lifestylevisualz very true. Ignorance and indoctrination is understandable but wilful ignorance and the strait denial of facts, evidence, reason and logic is dishonest and deceitful
Today I found two frogs in my garden.
Their bellies were ripped open and their insides were hanging out.
This work was probably done by my neighbour's cat, that often downloads in my garden
This is good evidence that the creator loves cats and designed them to kill evil frogs.
Did these callers buy there brains from a discount store?
Jupiter probably increased the number of asteroids that hit earth, because it was a good sink for angular momentum and kinetic energy so as to turn a long period comet into a short period one, where it has a lot more chances to smack into the earth.
@Gord Orvis Ihave as the idea that it can either tae hits or basically rurn them into satellites, this being from what I understood to be actually reliable sources
@@lukedeakin7124 It was a hypothesis, but it turned out once we had computers able to simulate the scenario that it was wrong.
@@markhackett2302 ah ok thanks
Of course a designer god would not have had asteroids in the first place.
The idea that nature is designed to suit mankind is little more than a joke.
@@grahvis Unless he hates humans. Which would explain the BS he put in his "Practical Jokes" book...
Oh, the god of the gaps. That's not a cross the caller is carrying, it's a goalpost.
I like Don's laugh :-)
As soon as he mentioned the jail analogy I thought. Boy you just fucked every chance you had on Matt not participating in the call.
...step 1 in postulating an ‘intelligent designer’: provide empirical evidence for this alleged ‘designer’.
"And it repented the Lord that he had made man on the earth and it grieved him in his heart"
Perhaps he should go back to the drawing board.
(Genesis 6:6)
Before designing a god, you need to decide what type of god you want.
Do you want a "general purpose" type of god or a god with a particular speciality, such as love.
Do you want a god who obeys your every command or one that ignores you completely ?
Perhaps you'd like a god that sometimes obeys you, but only when she's in the mood.
Le geniusness.
A very stubborn IDIOT ! .......... Hope USA is so proud ! ........

@@ralfhaggstrom9862 I suppose you are from Finland? Being a European myself, I have to admit that you can find such "stubborn" (to say the least) people in Europe (and everywhere) as well. The problem IMO seems to be the quantity of those extreme people ... their large numbers unfortunately give them a lot of (political) influence in the US.
On the other hand, the USA at least can be proud to have people like Matt ...
A: I need to wear glasses and some people are born blind.
B: Yes, but that is caused by sin. The world is broken. Adam and Eve sinned.
A: But an exceptionally intelligent designer would have anticipated that and ensured sin didn't happen.
B. Yes, but then we wouldn't have free will. Sin is a necessary consequence of a perfect design !
Let's say there are 1 million 'indications' of our universe being Intelligently Designed.
How many can we take away before it's no longer ID'd?
Equally important, how many can we as fallable, flawed humans add to the list to make things better?
If we can make the list longer then what does that say about the proposed designer?
What if the Jesus grilled cheese sandwich was the second coming of Jesus but the lady killed him because she took a bite out of the sandwich? Makes one think....
Seems to me that if a natural process works on its own, it doesn't need extra help from a supernatural agent. What a dead-end argument.

The Earth appears to be flat. Is it? Going off appearance alone can get you to the wrong answer in no time flat. Investigation and evidence are required to get to the right answer.
we need evidence to prove that something doesn't exist? oh look, it's Adrian, the believer of three-sided rectangle, legless and headless unicorn, and the believer of Chuthlu and Spaghetti Monster, and the believer of the Nation of Annexutamhea and the East Pole and a second Sun in the solar system.
Anyone else get the ad' for the teevee evangelist at the end? The god botherers are actually paying to appear on ACA vid's (and therefore helping to fund/support the work of the ACA). A wonderful irony.

Evidence for intelligent design? This should be short.
The Sun is the only reason there is life on this planet. Without it we wouldn't be here.
All suspects appear guilty until proven innocent.
God has the appearance of design.
He didn't just happen, right ?
You don't get a god from nothing, yeah ?
Therefore god was created by a superior being, which we call Supergod.
And Supergod was created by Super Duper God.
Infinite regression.

Of course, there is another possibility.
According to Darwin, simple organisms evolved into elephants and spiders.
So perhaps God is really simple and the world is much more sophisticated than God.
No magic tricks. Just some simple features that have developed naturally. Gravity. Energy. Space.

To everyone who can read this.
