A new Human Rights Watch Report finds Israeli forces have attacked humanitarian aid convoys and facilities at least eight times since October 7 despite being given their coordinates. Israeli authorities did not issue advance warnings to any of the aid organizations before the attacks, which killed at least 15 people, including two children, and injured at least 16 others. More than 250 aid workers have been killed in Gaza over the past seven months, according to the United Nations. “Aid workers, unfortunately, die in conflict zones,” says HRW researcher Belkis Wille. “What’s really unique in the context of Gaza is the high number in such a short period of time.”
Wille also discusses a recent U.S. government report that found Israel has likely violated international law in its assault on Gaza but that it could not make that conclusion definitively - a “shocking” finding, she says. “The United States absolutely has to start doing more to limit military assistance to Israel. … And it needs to do far more to protect civilians more broadly.”

However, having grown up in a particularly nasty guerilla war in Rhodesia & South Africa, I can tell you that the IDF is in fact encouraging the aberrant behavior of their troops ('God is on our side ' crap & 'needs must'). The end result will a large amount of young Israeli soldiers with severe PTSD & rage, who are unable to assimilate back into society. And this is aside from the horrific trauma the Palestinians have to deal with on a daily basis. And the western world is mystified by suicide bombers........

This scares the sht out of me. I don't want to be parent right now, but I have nephews and nieces (the oldest just turned three) who are the world to me. Seeing as how easy they dismiss children's lives, there are days I just hold them and break down in tears. I'm part of Muslim minority in a proud Catholic country.
Looking at history, it would be hard not to see the targeting of aid workers and ambulances by the IDF as a long-standing practice of the IDF.

I think that not everyone who comes from abroad to work in Gaza is innocent. Like those in the World Kitchen attack, almost all of whom had military training, it was a bit strange. It is easy to call someone a volunteer and his purpose is something else, like his military expertise.
I hope one day the IDF is brought to justice for some of these atrocities
