I fished most of these coves and I for sure recognize one of them and I didn’t see you fish the huge tree half way down the cove I flipped my kayak throwing for shad about where your sitting
Welcome to Truman Lake guys, this is my home lake. You're on the Grand arm of the lake and I'm on the other end on the Pomme arm. Good luck, I've caught several over 3 pounds upstream from Bucksaw over the years.
Love that timber when they flooded neely henry on coosa river it use to have alot of standing timer in it then in the early 90s they cut alot of it out and alot below the low water line of course thay said for pleasure boaters but the fisherman is the ones that out the most money into it i wish they wouldve left it alone ..but yruman looks awesome to me just a ton of trees to cover that takes alot of time ..
When Truman was made it flooded a forest and they just let it do it and left all the timber so that makes Truman a very dangerous lake if you don't know it. I totaled my boat there 2 years ago in 38 feet of water. Took off and when coming up on plane my boat hit a tree and ripped a big hole in the bottom of it. It is common there to be in 30 plus foot of water and still have timber sticking out of the water.

I won’t fish for a fish on this planet without a leader
I wanna know how you get to fish in super calm water all the time. Here in Texas I get maybe 3 days a year with water like that lol
