Luan's skating style has really solidified as he's gotten older. He over-pops everything and slaps center when he lands with precision authority. When even the most mundane things are amazing to witness; that is the definition of style.

um hello everyone. EVERYTHING AFTER THE BUZZER DOESNT COUNT!!!!!. His tricks done within actual time ALL much weaker than Nyjahs best run. ... luan does nolle backside flip , and big spin on pyrimad. Nyah does nolle backside flip, 3 flip, and CAB flip . Luan does ollie nose grind a ft long on flat ledge... Nyjah does a nollie nose grind on the largest across and down rail in park, luan does 270 lip ( a trick many pros do in there sleep ).... and nyjah does backovercrook pop out and half cab back smith.... HARD fucking tricks that NO one is doing. And some how luan scores higher? WHAT THE FUCK... write it out on paper trick by trick ... amount of tricks and difficulty Nyjah killed luan runs. the most biased judging ever EVER. absolute bullshit

I'm actually glad Nyjah didn't win this time. Don't get me wrong, he's a beast. If you just consider tricks, Nyjah's run was a bit better IMO. But skateboarding isn't just about difficult tricks, It's about passion, style, inspiration, excitement, unpredictability... and if you consider all that (and it's nice to know these judges did), Luan is WAY ahead of Nyjah. It's just my opinion though.
Raphael Coelho You just contradicted yourself though. If the judges indeed were judging off of unpredictability, style, and passion, then Luan should have been scored lower because EVERYBODY already knew what tricks Luan was going to do because he does them every contest. Same old kickflip disaster, switch tre, switch frontside fliup, etc. Meanwhile, Nyjah pulled out two new tricks I have never seen him do in his line. As for style, Luan didn't have the cleanest line. Anyway, it is what it is, Luan won. On a side note, they have got to stop underscoring my nigga Chaz in every conest. Dude be throwing out THE cleanest lines with very difficult tricks and perfect flow with perfect style.
