      Yeah even my metal detecting shovel the town doesn't like to see, if I want to use my predator phoenix shovel I go out at 3 or 4 in the morning and finish up around 6am, no witnesses

    There is nothing like the sound of silver on the E-trac!!! I still believe the ID numbers on the E-trac are hard to beat. Happy hunting!!!

    The Impact I been told it is a deep penetrating Detector. But I do got to say you know the Etrac very well. Good little hunt overall .. Thanks for showing another older model detector.. Happy Hunting. Peace

      It's definitely hitting deep, he is digging big plugs, looks deeper than my legend, 100% deeper than my deus one

      Ya the Impact is a very deep machine but the etracs audio is superior..The Impact gives off beeps where the etrac gives off squaks,squels,flutters and whoots...Giving you a better idea of whats in the ground..Iv'e also dug my deepest targets with the etrac..

    Good hunt as far as the E-trac goes your better off sticking with the machine that you have mastered 😁

      If your trying to do a serious session, if your just having fun, it can be fun to switch up machines, though I think I've really started to get better on the deus since my legend has been in for repairs, I never mastered the bottle cap tone on the legend, but on the deus bottle caps are so obvious 90% of the time for me

      The old park is picked pretty clean these days..Made some good finds there though..

    I found a 1914 wheetie up in canada, the weird thing is it was pressed up against a canadian zinc cent, so it was only dropped 1996 at the earliest, 2012 at the latest, that based on first year zinc cent and last year penny, so it was just an old wheetie floating around circulation

    • @WeirdGuyInPark
      @WeirdGuyInPark  8 дней назад

      Ya there are plenty of wheat cents still in circulation..I've found wheat cents in totlots right on surface ..

    I had a problem with a area that has a lot of led junk and tiny harden steel like track shoe spikes that I kept digging with the etrac just like last night with the quest V80. But I'm gonna try and try again with the etrac now, thanks to you.

      @WeirdGuyInPark Etrac vs manticore tonight, 4" wheaty flat 191?, etrac pounded it manticore I would've missed it. 5" women's wedding ring on edge thick part down that held diamond test planted, etrac wouldn't hit it, manticore squeeked it at 195 degree turn. 9' coil on manticore 11" coil on the etrac. I'm looking for a natural deep silver, and test them both.

      Remember that planted items don't have the halo effect of an item that's been underground for 50 years either...Just something to rthink about when testing..I'd love to have a manticore it looks awesome just cost to much for me..

    no doubt Etrac is the beast for silver, couple that with the old X one probe pointer and you know if you got a winner or a bust in the plug but it is just so darn heavy set up even without the Probe plus factor out the battery. with the newer machines its light fast on recovery and mostly rechargeable we can be out detecting all day without easily get tired or running for a AA replacements.
    i regret selling my old Explorer SE Pro which was close enough to the Erac.

    • @WeirdGuyInPark
      @WeirdGuyInPark  8 дней назад +1

      Ya i'd like to get one of those x probes for the etrac..I mount my gopro right to the armcuff so yes it is a heavy setup but i don't care as long as it keeps finding silver coins..Before getting the etrac my best silver coin year was only 25...The first year with the etrac i found 64 silver coins hunting those same spots..I may get out woth my exploerse soon as well..All the FBS Machines are great on silver..

      @@WeirdGuyInPark saw your latest vid with the Xplorer SE today, brings back memory lane...it'b interesting to see how these FBS machine perform against these Multi frequency machines. thank you for swinging the Xplorer the tones are sweeter to hear comparing to the NOX, more flutey in my opinion.

      If your talking upgrades the RNB battery is a must! You got your Etrac dialed in well.
      I am trying the Nokta machine it is decent but I need more coil time more familiar with tone breaks settings.

      @@timhenderson2643 I had an Etrac and now I'm using the Legend. The Etrac gives you alot more information and I really miss not having the non-ferrous ID. I can't say who wins in terms of depth but the Etrac is right there with any metal detector. The only issue I had with the Etrac is I had to swing slower than what I was used to with the Deus. I'm actually looking forward to maybe trying the new Garrett VX9 if it is a happy medium of what the Etrac has to offer and with good recovery speed for 1/2 the price of a DII or Manticore. I wish I hadn't sold my Etrac and stuck with it longer because it's an excellent machine.
