nah, that was meant for someone commenting. this part is my childhood. i grew up watching a lot of skate videos and working in a skate shop since 14 yrs old. this part is the most influential of all.when i seen stevie in my city b4 he blew up, i sat back like who the fuck is this guy? back then he was just another dude that murdered. that's the steve in this video. as for kalis, he needs no words. mad style, unreproducible trick selection, and talent beyond now made this part the shit.
I used to skate the "old brooklyn banks". Where you'd ollie over the wall into the street. The switch backside ollie 180 over the wall was most talked about trick years to come...
Notice how each verse in the song matches the skater race-wise, all of El-P's verses are of Kalis and the others to Stevie. White & black. I just wanted to point that out cause i found it interesting.

They did, but this skate shop has some extra surplus. I've been looking for those Deuces for awhile, cause they were my lucky skate shoes. I used to wear them without laces, and land all kinds of tech grinds. The old Airwalk 19oz skate edition used to have ollie armor around the front LOL. It's too bad they did away with the tech edition of DC's. I managed to manipulate the front shoestring hole to where it's hidden from griptape contact.

love park isn't perfect anymore. Theres a load of planters everywhere and patches of grass where ther never used to be. half the ledges are knobbed too. Its still a great spot though
@CAZPERsayz nah if you skate almost everyday and are always trying new stuff you're not a poser(no matter the skill level), but if you're just dressing the part without skating hard you are a poser. Yes, posers will call other people posers to try and make it look like they themselves are not.
That's too bad bro. I still got some shoes from back then. I pretty much got holes in the bottoms of all the soles. :( The only thing I like about modern skate shoes, is the gummy vans like soles, and the light weight. Having lace eyes exposed to grip tape is pretty retarded, though. The Osiris D3's were pretty sick as well.
