Fuck, when skateboarding was raw. Alien is seriously the dopest company. This almost 10 years old and it's still way funner to watch than anything out now. Can't wait for mindfield.
the one thing i would suggest to alien workshop is to get their skaters more well known to people. everybody knows rob dyrdek and jason dill because of SKATE the game and MTV. but not alot of younger skaters will know who these other guys are
@cr3am3dCAK3 i agree,i skated hard during the period of videos such as welcome to hell, thrill of it all, trilogy, mouse daewon vs rodney,i would wake up on a saturday smoke a j,watch 411vm and go out and skate! that was the good old days!.
It's puzzling to me why anyone would dislike this video. Honestly if any of the 4 people who disliked this video could reply to me it would be greatly appreciated, i just want to understand your logic?
@ZeroSkater62095 Gotta agree with you. Skaters were more of a community in those days, now it's just little skate crews going from famous spot to spot "filming." The community aspect is almost totally gone. So is the underground flavor and the non conformist attitudes...now everything is a fashion show and mainstream as hell. The scene got me into so much underground music back in the day, that aspect is also lacking now.
i agree memory screen and photosynthesis are great videos.but the only thing that has changed with alien is that they have a few more west coast riders.but that hasnt changed the workshop at all.your from cali.if you lived anywhere near dayton, ohio youd know it hasnt changed at all.dyrdek lives in cali now. is that why you say that?
I can agree with about the kids who buy the skater clothes, but just because they're young doesn't mean they're a typical skinny jeans and skater-shirt-exclusively wearing people. Also kids filming is common though generations, You can watch videos of great skaters talk about how they would make bad skate vids to be like Santa Monica skaters, and as it turns out they're different from them too just as out generation then the one of the 90's. Why give skaters a bad rep with the non-conformism?
For one, you should learn how to reply to a comment, and two I believe that he was stating the fact that alien has changed their teams image and especially the fact that it is losing the east coast vibe with all these new riders. I like the new team but am a bigger fan of alien in these days and before with videos like memory screen and photosynthesis
@ZeroSkater62095 lol, you mean IS , skateboarding is best, but this video sucks, i agree with u, with tht, but skaing still is a very good sport, or should i say lifestyle??
So good! Great time in skateboarding
