It’s an evolutionary hodgepodge of species: the duck (bill and webbed feet), beaver (tail), and otter (body and fur), and has venom (snakes). a mammal, a bird, a fish, a poisonous reptile. you name it. what a cute contradiction-a mammal but lays eggs. a mammal that’s lousy on land, but very adept in water. a very adorable looking shy creature, but packs a poison that causes extreme pain. a lovable irony. they’re so odd yet so wonderful. Nature went very creative with this one.
