The green revolution is an effort and the forerunner of advances in agricultural technology to increase food productivity. the goal is to change the use of traditional technology in the agricultural sector by applying modern technology for optimal results.
Indonesia was previously known as a country rich in agricultural and plantation products such as rice, corn, soybeans, sweet potatoes, tea and coffee. The green revolution had a major impact on the productivity of both sectors, to meet the needs of the Indonesian population.

Pemerintahnya saja sudah tidak setuju dengan majunya pertanian Indonesia kenapa karna setiap panen raya di Indonesia malah ikut impor beras dari Vietnam. Karna stok beras melimpah ditambah panen raya otomatis harga gabah jadi murah. Mau untung malah rugi mana pembelian pupuk bersubsidi dibatasi. Dan pupuk murah untuk pertanian dipermainkan distributor pupuk ditahan di jual ke perkebunan kelapa sawit yang berani beli dengan harga lebih mahal.

Pun awal bencana bagi petani Indonesia sekarang ya penyebab petani semua ke tergantungan ke pupuk sintetis kimia ya padahal sebelum refolusi hijau ini Indonesia swasembada pupuk ya tapi sekarang apa ha Ter paksa harus beli pupuk dan pestisida yang harganya pasti di kendalikan oleh perusahan yang di milliki oleh manusia yang ber jiwa atheis yang tak percaya tuhan ya jadi masalah kerusakan lingkungan ini pada diri orang itu tak kan perna ia fikirknanya

Sekarang petani menjadi konsumen dalam sistem pertanian. Tergantung dengan pupuk kimia sintetis. Lahan menjadi rusak. Tanah keras tercampur residu pupuk kimia
