She's technically middle age...but after having 10 potats, probably not feeling as spry these days. Even in their outside outings she's not trying to sprint or jump fences. Birthing Yori took a lot out of her and she's probably going into her older years with that.

Yes, he does, I noticed that altough he likes Raya too, when Suki and Raya fight, Shiro always takes Suki's side, he tries to bite Raya slowly or nudges her. He knows Suki longer and they share a strong bond.
Well, I don’t think so.. Shiro doesn’t care about Suki anymore .. it’s pretty much evident looking at the videos uploaded since Raya came into the picture .. Suki knows the same too..Her behaviour since the change fits exactly with the pattern of dealing with the loss of a Mate due to any reason or circumstance .. The good thing is that Suki has adapted very well to the change with the least amount of fuss and violence..

His bond with Suki is unchanged and it's pretty clear from their behavior that they act and consider themselves the alpha couple, with the younger pack member (Raya) finding her way in the pack ^_^

I have to be honest....I know the narrative is probably to appease the Suki super-fans...but I think Shiro was jealous of Hooman giving Suki attention. He stayed near hooman even after hooman moved away from Suki. That's an indication that it's the attention he was jealous of. He wanted pats too, not just give them to Suki.

Is Suki ok? Her collar is so loose, which means she must be losing weight. She also seems more tired and uninterested in what is going on around her. I realize she had 10 puppies but lately her energy is lower than I remember. She is obviously a very sensitive doggo, as can be witnessed with her panic attacks. I wonder if the new order in the household is impacting her emotional energy? I hope I am wrong but I do have a sense of unease about the beautiful girl.

I think she is coping with the realization her childbearing years are over, and, Raya, as sweet as she is to Suki, is taking her place as "the apple of Shiro's eye", so to speak. No, I'm not assigning human emotions to canines. Do know, without a doubt, that canines feel love for their family and their hoomans. To have one dissappear, leaving them all missing him, then the last one dissappear, is bewildering for any mother of any species. It makes me sad how those loud noises outside upset her, almost give her panic attacks. I hope she is given vitamins for her bones, joints, heart, eyes and coat to restore her vitality and loss of calcium from past 4 child-bearing years,l. Both my Shiba Inu females lived long, healthy, happy lives for 14 years. But since I adopted both from Animal Rescue Shelters, they were already spayed, never had puppies.They had long walks every day to a park with soft green grass, got to run free off their leashes in enclosed high fences around the grassy fields. Gave them special food and vitamins as they aged. So thankful for the privilage to have shared my home with lovely Shibas. So hard to say goodbye to one and then to the other one. They left their pawprints on my 🐾 ❤ 🐾 I hope if/when Raya has potats that she will allow Suki to be the HRH can be an Auntie or Grandmother figure and help her. I guess we'll see eventually. 🙏💙
She has been replaced already and she knows it well enough .. the good part is that she looks to have dealt with the loss of her Mate pretty well.. Females are usually lot more aggressive when it comes down to this ..but then Suki is a class apart.. Musf have been so confusing initially though , waking up one fine day and losing your 2 cute little potats and your Mate in a matter of hours ..
