    Cracking video Dan. I really enjoy how you put your videos together, they make for great watching. Just watch your back on that terrain!

      Thanks. I'm glad the effort in editing is noticed and appreciated. I think it would get boring reeling in ten fish in a row so try and keep that for the best of the action

    Thoroughly enjoyed that mate.
    Fished Starcross a few times.

      Thanks for saying. Glad it was a decent watch. I've not fished Starcross yet but the shipwreck is on my to fish list. Don't forget to Subscribe as there will be plenty more over the winter.

      @@FishingAroundBudleigh already have.
      One question, using those carp rods, what kind of oz weight are you using?

    • @FishingAroundBudleigh
      @FishingAroundBudleigh  Год назад +1

      Oh. Thank you 😊 I use 3oz weights. I think it may be pushing it but don't over do it.

    I've fished opposite that mark at the hole in the wall on the Exmouth side every night last week with rag and not so much as a nibble, Nice catch!

      Try Blow Lug next session. It works so much better. My last video was at hole in the wall and had loads there last week

      Thanks for the advice, where do you get them from locally ? @@FishingAroundBudleigh

      No worries. I dig mine at low tide off the Imperial Recreation Ground. Or Hook Line and Tackle have them. Think you have to preorder or reserve it though?

      @@Adam_Outdoors no worries. I bought them as a "temporary set up" during lockdown. Never needed to replace them and haven't even oiled the reels.

    Very nice video. Do you ever target the bass on lures in the estuary?

  • @ditch3202
    @ditch3202 Год назад +2

    What source do you use for the estuary tide times please ?

    • @vbn828
      @vbn828 Год назад

      go on google and search where you want to fish and tide times

    • @FishingAroundBudleigh
      @FishingAroundBudleigh  Год назад +1

      I use an app called Fishing Points. Does way more than just tides. If you log a catch it'll save all the data you can dream of including tide height, moon phase all the way to weather and air pressure the minute you caught
