    If your holding that arm tight what’s the difference of going to the “side” verse rotating? How does rotating keep him from pulling the arm out?

      Rotating doesn't do anything I disagree with him on that I had one of the best dumps in my schools history and I never did the rotation thing I just shifted my weight on the other knee if you have that arm tight there is no getting out of a dump in motion that I know of unless a guy blocks a hip or doesnt get in it but depending on how fast you can hit it he doesn't have time to block the hip you keep the arm and shift weight to the opposite leg he's done

    Guys in BJJ would not appreciate throws (already having lots of injuries) - it's more for young and experienced students.

      Honestly fireman's don't hurt. Plus wrestlers have just as many injuries. BJJ is literally submission wrestling. You need to learn to wrestle.

      @@app369 always horrified to see all binded fingers and 1/2 couches having knee/foot injuries in BJJ gym... It's also not for adults

      @@app369 even in Combat SAMBO we didn't do Fireman Scary max high hip throws. They are not pretending to hit as Karate or throw like sports SAMBO or Judo (not sure if fireman scarry is allowed there)

      @@Pifagorass the fireman/short carry is the least painful move. Especially if done right. Usually the opponent just rolls so nicely with fluidity when done right

      @@Pifagorass If you are doing any sort of grappling, you should be trained how to fall and be expecting to be thrown, or taken down
