I love the idea of me being "a map of them all" -- not only by heritage, but also because we are made of everyone we love and the marks we leave on them. If your sister says you have a restless soul, that's who you are to her. I have no Irish or English in my blood at all, and I'm also not told I have traveling feet etc., but it's amazing how this song is so much about Rose Betts, and at the same time it's about everyone.

P.S.: Loved the recorder there 💚🎶
This song is timeless, can be a contries anthem ! Very powerful with the drum beats!
It's been so awesome watching the process with this song, from the little preview you posted to this. Every time you drop something there's a bit more, and just when I think I can't love the song more you do this and I've got chills all over again. Thank you for taking us along on your process. 🖤
A modern classic, fully deserves to last forever.
Beautifully crafted, builds to a proper climax… I’ve bought Nashville string set just to cover this song… it’s so very very good… and the lyric is every bit as good as the music…
I'm in my disney princess era with this song right here! Merida who?? She could never 💅 ✨️
i'm so happy we finally got a studio version. i love this song so much
Oh my lord, I can't remember when a song spoke to my soul more.
Rose - this song is delightful and very moving. Your sweet voice is very soothing.
a beautiful song which calls us to remember we are connected to the world and every generation. We are people of one world hopefully we can embody this song so we may know peace
I can sing along to this at .6 speed as lullaby to put my baby Heather to sleep. She has my Irish blue eyes and her English mom's brown hair. It's perfect!
This made me, inexplicably, start weeping.
I think it might be because it felt like missing someone you never met.
Ohh I love this so much! My great grandparents are from Ireland ❤ and my others ideas from Scotland England and Wales. Settled in Australia. Beautiful song I love it thank you 😍
I love this so much. I appreciate music that is actual talent, and this isn't even close to the mainstream tin can!
I'm 95 percent irish and I'm proud of my Irish heritage
I'm just curious, how are you 95 percent Irish?
@@writitripathy a very very distant ancestor wasn’t Irish. Think of it like this: If she only had 100 ancestors, then only 5 were not Irish. 5% non-Irish. 95% Irish. Then there is a completely different topic of nationality, in that case it would be a Yes/No question.
@@desyxd4400 I see. It would require a great deal of ancestry keeping to know that I believe. Still very interesting, thank you!
@@writitripathyit does sound a bit strange... like something an American would say xD
I've played it all day, it's sooo peaceful
Thank you for this beautiful song. Our heritage matters. 💚💙
This speaks to my Irish soul. This song perfectly depicts my sister who is a red-headed gypsy, whom I love dearly yet see rarely. Here's to you Court! And thank you rose for keeping irish trad alive!
Something about this song is so beautiful. It's sad but proud and heartfelt

This should be Irelands entry for the eurovision. It's fantastic.
The only song it could *potentially* lose to would be Jaja Ding Dong.
Ethereal song. It makes me feel joy for life. This is one of those songs that makes me wish I was a film director bc I could see it working for so many scenes. Well done.
