    Que pena que este valioso iconico camion Ford F. 600 V8.4 x41966.Unicos en su tipo fabricados tanto para uso de carga como para uso como militar; Muchos estan abandonados en depositos de chatarras. Este camion indestructible del cual estoy mas que seguro que muy pronto sera rescatado por algun taller de restauración integral y convertirlo en una locura. En razon que es un camión sencillo al que lo puedes poner como nuevo con todo original Ford y con accesorios que te hara deslumbrarar. Trabajando en eventos especiales cobrando precios muy especiales por que atrae muchas miradas.

    Freewheel hubs on the front axle. When 4 wheel drive is engaged they can reduce wear on the diff-gears and reduce fuel consumption a little by auto disengaging and re-engaging according to rolling resistance. Good luck to ya.

    • @WesleyJohnsonMI
      @WesleyJohnsonMI  4 года назад

      No, all the fill/drain plugs are there. There's just so much oil & grease on everything, it makes you take a double take. I'm certain it'll be a good truck. Keep your eyes open, there still floating around out there. Thanks!

      @@WesleyJohnsonMI It was just looking at it it looked like it was missing when you ware under the truck. I bought a truck and on the drive home I could smell the rear end oil and when I got home and got under it found the plug was missing on the rear end so that was the first thing to get fixed on it. I've got a 68 Dodge C600 361 5+2 dump truck with about 69000 original miles on it that I really need to get back on the road again. I sometimes wish it had a flat bed instead of the 13 foot Peabody/Gallion dump bed that's on it, Trucks empty weight is 10800 lbs and with a 25800 GVW you end up with a 7 1/2 ton load of gravel witch in that bed aint much ! LOL Its doubled framed just like you Ford is and it will take you a half a day to grease it, I cant believe the number of grease fitting on that truck. I've owned it for 20 years and I'm still finding grease fittings I didn't know were there ! LOL It is a well built truck and in some places over built but I like it and you got to be humble to drive an old Dodge like it is, There kind of ugly but they grow on you ! LOL Bandit

      @@banditfarmer1900 LOL! Yeah, I trailered this thing home, then gave it a once over after I got it. That's the one thing I like about old equipment. There's over half a dozen manufacturers to get parts from that make/made medium duty 4x4s. You're much further ahead to buy one that's already 4x4, either in useable shape or as a parts donor. Search craigslist, market place, purple wave, Ritchie Bros, etc.

    • @WesleyJohnsonMI
      @WesleyJohnsonMI  4 года назад

      The different system is called hydroboost. It's powered off of you truck's power steering pump. The master cylinder is split, with separate circuits for front & rear brakes. Google Bosch or Bendix hydro-max hydraulic brake booster. It'll come up with some downloadable PDF service manuals. The system I'm going with can be found on 1984-1998 Ford F700 trucks. I'll be doing an install video here in the next month. I'm waiting on a part to show up yet. I'll include the part numbers for everything I used. It'll be up to you to price the stuff out. It's not cheap, but shouldn't too bad.

      @@andrewavvenire116 The hydroboost system wasn't an option on this era of truck (dent side), but were on the bull nose & newer trucks. I'm retrofitting onto the older truck.
