Oh my God I know right I was thinking the same thing I just came back here to reminisce about the first time I started watching this back in 2015 It was good times. I have good memories with this anime and the cards from it but then I see it’s been almost 9 years good God it’s crazy when I think about it!

Who's here feeling nostalgic about Vanguard G now that Zero has entered G era? 2016 was a good time, despite getting into vanguard after G started, that's when I started playing.
Me too. I first got into vanguard when the G era started and watched all of the episodes up to G and it was cool to wait for new episodes to come out and see new cards be revealed.

I like how as Chrono meets more people the ending song gets more characters
Bushi missed a good opportunity to actually _explain_ Stride here. I've heard that the Cardfights will get a bit less "haphazard" in episodes after 10 or so, and the anime might go back to actually explaining some things instead of just spouting game terminology.
In the subbed version it instead takes the time to explain how much the game changed the ( fictional ) world but if u want to know how to stride the wiki does a good job
at the fist fight with chrono and kamoui i sont notice at 10:42 wen kamoui remove a card from chrono deck and put to différents zone there your opportunity to explaine the stride you just mist it lol :P
There's a difference between showing the stock footage of Striding and actually explaining it. Maybe keep the explanations less ham-fisted than season 1, but Chrono has literally never played the game before. Having that much explanation happen off-screen seems rushed.
We might be getting back to actual cardfights around episode 12, so we'll have to hold out til then.
To *****: What if it turns out that they were pulling punches that whole time when episode 12 is aired? :-(

If a swirl red headed kid jogged past you, your immediate reaction is definitely stare. But Aichi just shrugged and continued with his business.

Well done! I wish Bushi would put subtitles for the stuff that we can't read, (like in Buddyfight) but oh well. Chrono's voice is perfect, and the writing is just as good :) "Liberating the Generation Zone" is kinda weird though lol

ehhh, Chrono can hold his own but I prefer Aichi a lot more, heck I'm still waiting for Aichi to be the main character again, at least we won't have to wait for his appearance that long with the most recent episode that's out

I'll say this much, the guy playing Chrono does a good job of making his voice fit the character.
The reason season 4 was skipped was because of its terrible acceptance from the community and its lack luster story bushiroad stated and I quote "Legion mate was seen at a less than favorable standard therefore will not be dubbed" it was tweeted out about 3 weeks ago if anyone would like to check

It's so nice and bright and vivid, I love it. The voice casting thus far (episode 1) I am satisfied with. Chrono having Baku's voice I'll have to get a bit used to, but he can probably pull it off.

I do agree the dubbing team could have done better, but I also agree with the need to play catch up, being an entire arc behind is ridiculous, I also have confidence that G will get better as it goes, since they did promise that it'd have the full fights again starting with EP 12
well the dub is 7 episodes behind so there gonna need to work hard to keep up most likely gonna start doing 1 episode a week again soon but if they didn't go overboard with buddyfight they wouldn't have a problem
7 episodes behind is acceptable, as they can still easily advertise upcoming sets and cards.

People can you please STOP with the complaints about G having no plot... look back at the original season, it had NO plot in the first 10+ episodes till they finally got to episode 7 when the card capitol tournament happened. Even then it wasn't that big of a plot impact, the major plot didn't start till half way into the series. So give it a REST!
Also to those who don't play attention to their Facebook and the Vanguard Wiki, no we're not skipping BT17 and going to the G stuff, BT17 Ver.E comes out on the 23rd of this month, then we get the G-Trial Decks starting February with GTD01, 02, and 03 in the 27th, followed by G-Booster set 01 on March 13th. It's already been confirmed by bushiroad the rest of the release cycle of stuff as well all they way till June, which by then we will only be 1 booster set and an extra booster behind japan, those being G-BT03, and the Booster Triangle Extra Booster which if the pattern continues we'll be seeing TD03 in July, and the Bermuda Booster in August, which then means we'd see G-BT04 in September since in japan, G-BT04 will probably come out in August since G-BT03 is scheduled for May, an they have a 3 month break between booster sets.

The whole reason they didn't focus on the cards was because of how early the series started compared to how late the TD's and Booster Sets came out.
Problem is that's not how japanese television works. They had episodes pre-planned, but they can't just put the series on hiatus till it's closer because they'd lose their time slot on their network.
yea I agree with Cardfight Destiny. I was trying to explain that to another guy all along and he insist that bushiroad was nt showing full fight. It is still early part of the season so nt having full fight is normal

i did love the original series but man, i can't help but already love this protagonist as much as i did aichi which pleasantly surprised me.
Just finished the latest episode of the V Series, now I’m gonna watch the G Series again. Hope it’s not as confusing as I remember
Edit: One observation I’ve made is that V Series is more simple with more easy pay off, while G Series has the Stride, witch does allow for the player going second to have some kind of advantage, though like I said, it is still more confusing with less power overall

hmmmm.... to be honest, I liked the original Vanguard. it showed how it was really played and made it really feel like cardfight... I didn't know what to think when I watched the first ep, it was ok but the Cardfight spirit is not there

Bushiroad better have a pretty darn good reason for skipping season 4.
Well, they needed to play catch up, and not much that happened in Legion Mate is important to G, unless they make a Link Joker user.
Their reasoning is the old Director of Legion Mate retired so they didn't have him to lead the way on the English dubbing project, Because of this they're skipping the entire season and going to G with the current director taking the lead. Otherwise they would have dubbed season 4.
