The problem of Southern Nigeria is multifactorial.
The youth in Nigeria detest and hate Agriculture with passion.
Most young school leavers prefer the Okada transport business, if there had been no Okada biz, majority of the riders would end as Farm workers or farmers.
No matter the effort of the current goverment or next one, Without addressing this rural to urban migrstion drift, mechanised farming would fail.
The situation is so pathetic that most building construction labourers. Brick layers, artisans, carpentets are being imported from Togo and Benin Rep.

    I agreed with your assertion.
I have a small informal settlement community thst i occassionally dole out food parcel for a giveaway. I never announced my visit. The first law at each visit is orderliness,
All beneficiary must que, each household head must be represented on the que.
So far, i had done this about 4 times and there had been no stampede. I give God the glory, this Nigeris STAMPEDE would make me to enforce more orderliness in my next give away visit.

Before mechanized farming can be done, kidnapping problems should be solved first. Kidnapping was the thing that made farmers ran away from their farms. Yes, it was caused by the government too.

Aunty Adnuni, please stick to the subject matter. There is nothing good to remember about military rule in Nigeria. The problem we are facing in Nigeria today is caused by the military. In fact, the military destroyed Nigeria's economy between 1983 and 1998. Serving and retired military personnel sponsored most of the politicians who occupied strategic positions in 1999, including the President, governors, and most of the federal lawmakers.
The problems we face today as a nation are caused by corruption and the lack of a system to run our economy. I agree with you on the lack of mechanized farming and insecurity created by Hausa/Fulani. There is nothing like a constituency allowance for lawmakers in developed and developing nations.

You think Naomi didn't know there'll be rushing/stampede?? She did not plan her charity for her town of origin, she bypassed her own State, ignored where she is known by marriage, the capital of that state... Oshogbo but went to Ibadan, which according to her has a higher concentration of people 😢? God's judgement will reveal a lot.

Egbeda local government is safe from fulani herdsmen. If local governments are given power to produce food, it will be ok. But the wicked rich will rather sell their lands to estate developers and orioke people. Ibadan alone can produce food for its citizens. Nigeria's case can give someone depression

Aunt Adunni, this just my observation with in this case ma. It’s seems you have a personal beef with Naomi? Because there’s nothing that she does that certify you. If this woman pst Funke didn’t go you will still come for her. ABBA. Eyan naa ni Naomi…. Eyan de lo bi Naomi. Do you think she’s happy with what happened? There’s something they call process. She can’t just jump the gun and go and visit the bereaved. Please have some empathy and remember that you also have your own children. Ko da ooooo. I come in peace

Condolences to bereaved families in Ibadan, Anambra, and Abuja, respectively. Anambra and Abuja stampedes just happened. Where were/ are the police and other agencies to prevent or stop stampedes in Nigeria? It is rather unfortunate that good intentions are being scandalized. Who is responsible for law and order in Nigeria? May God help us.
