Two consenting adults who are separated from their spouses have a relationship. Why would an employer have any concerns. It's none of the employers business.
Because they are tired of all the attention this is getting. They want their employees to report the news, not be the news. If they did sign a morality clause before employeement there,and they can prove that the affair was going on while they were both married, this will give ABC the cover they need to let them go and be done with this. I'm not saying they should do this. I couldn't care less.Those morning shows are mind numbing to me. Just adding a little insight into why it could be done and how.
