The thing is we have come to accept "chemistry" and romance as the foundation for a relationship. Its deeper than that. There are days you will not like your spouse but you have to choose love. It is human to feel something, but the higher road is NOT to act on the sparks. Nothing really genuine and long term can come of this. 95% of relationships that start on the basis of cheating/dishonesty/adultery will not survive the potholes and rigors that are normal in a long term relationship. It is not that attractive/beautiful/handsome people cease to exist once you make marital vows, it is that you firmly purpose to shut these potential liaisons from the secret spaces of your heart/spirit/mind
