Ive never been interested in paddleboards before
but this is more interesting than expected
He cut fiberglass without a mask on…
How its made, steps 1-4 and 20-23
I like this how it is made series..
Nice way to learn...
Thank you..🙏👍😊
"Ah shit, here we go again."

This is something I never knew that I wanted to know.... 🤯😂
Really wanted to see how the seam of the two halves was fixed to make a watertight seal.... Was completely omitted.
I have seen one of these Dragonfly "paddleboards" (they are obviously boats - not boards). The hull leaked and there is not a way to drain it. I understand that the people at Dragonfly are cool...but the boat is not perfect yet.
My guess is a combination of silicon around the edge mating surface and the expanding adhesive foam inside on the stringers. The best way would be a slight change to the design creating a lipped mating surface utilizing an epoxy type bonding agent. Nice to see it hand laminated though, most processes now use vacuum bagging. Always a tough balance for things like this, weight, cost, ease of assembly, etc. Working with fiberglass can be dirty, nasty and itchy but I thoroughly enjoyed working fiberglass.
Is this for recreation, I don't understand the need for an anchor. I mean, you anchor and swim, get picked up by a boat, or what?
This looks like FUN, putting this together? I love building stuff.
I used to work with fibre glass and Fun it definitely is not ! Its a horrible itchy material that will pierce its way through any protective clothing and your skin. You'll be driven mad itching and scratching all over, especially your nuts but as you're a woman that won't effect you
I love your videos, because not too long
ive never seen a SUP like this, they're usually inflatable and without anchor.
Or Solid "glassed" foam and made essentially the same as a surfboard.
I used to work for that company. It’s called Dragonfly Boatworks. They do boats and paddle boards.
isups were made long after rigid boards were around
@@hillbillypirate3659 hi that is a neat work may I ask you about the assembly of the edge of the upper and lower parts how do you do it

how long did it take?
Air saw!? 1st time ever hearing something like that
👍👍👍👍👍👍
Since you apply a motor to your board, why don't you apply a bit of spinning fin to give it a bit of speed even if no pudding needed.
who is the dark haired man operating the anchor/building the board?
I didn't know this was a thing
