Hey Jason I live in UK and I don't have a limit on my water usages.. Helps alot I only have 6 tanks but they all 150gallons and I change water 3 times a week as I have african cichlids haps 10 inch plus fish
Jason, I have made my own DIY water change system without drilling holes in tanks and much less tubing. I'll have a video up in the next day or so about it if you would like to check it out. I hate the thought of drilling holes in tanks and cracking them as you said at the start of the video.
@@JadrenAquatics thank you for the info. I am trying to plan my first fish room. The challenges are its a brick garage not attached to the house, no drainage, no water, no money to pay someone to build my dream, and no knowledge on how to do construction work myself. I plan on learning though 😃 . Any advice from your self or others would be very appreciated.
Polarized sun glass trick on the tempered glass seems to work best in the sunlight. The side glass on a car should be tempered. So try to look at one next time you get a chance. You should see a hazy, sometimes colorful, graph shaped pattern of spots across the glass. That's also a good way to make sure your glasses or ski goggles are actually polarised! Snow ain't no joke! Flash burn is horrible!
Sorry if I missed the answer to this in the video, but with the drip system, do you have to consider the temperature of the water dripping in? Or is the drip slow enough that the water temp just regulates itself to the tank temp without any huge shifts? Thanks!
No it's slow enough that it does not matter unless you set the timer to drip and hour at a time then you might have a problem if your source water is very cold. Better to set the droppers on timers to go off 10 times a day a 15 minutes a time. Thanks!
I truly Love your videos. You have actually inspired me. My girlfriend hates it because my house look like SeaWorld. Keep up the great videos coming. I tried contacting you in Facebook but no response. Any other way to contact you? Take care mate.
Great video! Thanks for taking the time to shoot it. It answered some questions that I had about this type of system.
It was good to see all the individual pieces involved in the process and well as what they look like installed. Nice video!
What no jokes lol. I always look forward to your comments you let me down this time.

Great video ,and explained really well ,thankyou .👍
I had no idea you lived near me! Amazing set ups!
Good video, I'd definitely automate the lot if I had that many tanks.

I'm pretty sure I know the overflow system that your using. I'll have to check that out.
Were did you get your water storage container. I do not have water in my garage either?
It's a 275 gallon tote I bought on Craigslist. Thanks

Could you use a dechlorinater instead of a RODI for sensitive fish and be fine?
Totally depends on the species of fish

Thanks for the info! I plan on doing a drip system when I build my fish room and this helped a lot!
@@FoisyAquatics your very welcome
Is the water pressure adjustable and if so what water pressure do you maintain?
When you fill up the tanks above the drilled hole. Is there a shut off valve to stop the water from draining?

Thanks I really appreciate it. Sorry I missed it let me go back and see if I can find the message.
