My college had a Nuke Engineering building with a reactor in it that we got to mess with, and very low background radiation in that building. Pretty cool stuff, though we got more radiation just walking by the giant piles of coal for the coal plant every day. I was in the Chem building most of the time breathing in all kinds of deliciousness

That is probably the reason I have gotten Bald, In 1984 I was 25 years old, I Found a little Spot at the Top of my left Testicul, it turned out to be Milenegnet, after removal, I had to have all Three MRI Pocedures, I had the Drink the Nasty Barium. They ingited the Dye and the worst one was injection, with the Ballon up the Old Rear End. I had that Pocedures Every Month for a Year. That Blows my Mind, when I saw the Ration going up on the other side of the Door, Thanks for Sharing this Video, It Tells me alot. Didn't think to get one or we can get one. But when I was emt school my instructor was in hazmat in the fire department and he was responsible handling thr counter. Ans when he went into some radiated area's he felt some unpleasant sensations.
We had a small selection of Geiger counters when I was at collage, one of them looked exactly like a Tricorder from Star Trek 😆. Thoughts and prayers to you and your family Brad 🙏
My mom was supposed to start her non-chemo radiation treatments today but apparently the doctor sent her sample to get retested cause this doctor was telling her chemo or non-chemo and then pills. Completely opposite from what she was told at the hospital her last appointment
Thank you for your video, but this model the "GQ GMC 500" actually only has a "single tube" unlike mine the "GQ GMC 500+" which does have "two tubes", but costs more: 188 € (currently: €168). The "500" or "500+" remain among the most competitive and qualitative on the market... I also liked the "GQ GMC 600" (one of the few to also detect alpha waves) and the "Terra P" but unfortunately they are not in my budget (around: 400€)... Ps: good recovery to your wife.

It was probably fluorine-18 used in the pet scan. It has a short half life almost 110 minutes. It's a B+ (beta) emitter.
My father had it done.
