@@Trailblazer_Ririna the goddess of victory is a battle BGM in the overzone event (and you kinda hit it on the nose there, yes it's tragic like a music before fighting a losing battle), and yeah pilgrim are nikkes that roams the surface since they're abandoned by ark, they are stronger than current gen since they have no resource restriction (created while humans still have control of the surface to fight the raptures not to mention the centuries of experience of fighting it).
Context for Nikke OSTs pt 2: - Dilemma (Event OST for "License to Kill", the first event involving Perilous Siege, the assassin squad. They are all morality-based and it sometimes screws with you) - Goddess of Victory (Battle OST. I forgot where it's actually played) - ACPU Freeze (Event OST for "ACPU Freeze". Apparently the most popular of all Nikke OSTs, enough to win the 1.5 Anniversary poll. Also the Halloween song) - Absolute Maker (Boss theme for "Indivillia" on her 2nd phase. Her 1st phase song is "Headless Angel", a song no one can play on stream because Sony will be right there to DMCA you to oblivion) - Afterglow (Boss theme for "Mirror Container". It's very recent.) - Colorless (Event OST for "Colorless". The best song they have currently, and is something that I jammed to for 30 minutes after my Nikke stream) - Red Hood (One of the many event OSTs for "Red Ash", only plays in the climax of the event story) - We Rise (The opening song of the game, plays when you download or update it)
Gosh darn it, Sony... At one point does Headless Angel play? Is it during an event story's boss stage or main story? I guess if she's an event story boss though, then that'll be slightly better. Hopefully.
@@Trailblazer_Ririna headless angel i belive plays in phase one of the battle against Indivilia. One of those times is during the "Last Kingdom" event story which has yet to be added to the archives, and i forget if we have fought against her in the main story or not
Yeah, it's only available in the event.. The 1.5 anniversary event is just 4 month ago so it's still new, It could takes months for them to add the event in the archive.
Alright, round 2 of this lets go! 0:00 [Dilemma] It's been a while since I've played this event, as it's an event OST but it's a Perilous Siege Event, the two you see in the image are a squad. They're assassins who target corrupt individuals inside the Ark or the Central Government. Ultimately, they have to make decisions on what's morally right, as in the end, they are given the freedom to assassinate a target or let them live. They are ordered to investigate a target, and the targets ultimate fate is up to them. And it weighs heavily upon them. At least, it does on D (the one on the left). At the end of the day, they dont regret what they do. They know they have to do this because someone has to. But of course, sometimes you can't help but wonder if you made the right decision. 12:03 [Goddess of Victory] OH WE GOT ONE OF THE BANGERS HERE. Man, i don't know where to start with this one. This is true to the name, the battle theme for the Goddess Squad. It's featured in the Overzone event which I highly recommend you playing as soon as you can, that or Red Ash. Overzone (Half Ani event) came out first, but Red Ash (First Ani Event) takes place first. But Both focus on the Goddess Squad. Pilgrims are Nikke's that wander the surface without support from the Ark, and act independently (typically), so they are definitely on another level than your typical Nikke. But these aren't just Pilgrims, these are the Nikke's belonging to the Goddess Squad, and this event takes place before the game and the ark was sealed underground, so they aren't quite Pilgrims yet. However, the Goddesses are, the Strongest Squad in History and Humanities Hope. They fight for the sake of Humanity; to save them. They are praised as the hope of humanity. And they should have been heralded as such...should have...And that's all I'll say for the sake of spoilers! Sometimes I even tear up hearing this song too lol. 19:53 [A.C.P.U! FREEZE!] Not much to say here, this is a really fun song for an event. It was a "Halloween" event although there wasn't a lot of Halloween elements featured, just used in the story of it. It Features the A.C.P.U - Ark Central Patrol Unit. (I don't know if it's ever been stated what A.C.P.U Stands for but that's what I believe it is). They're basically the Ark's Police force. Not a lot of deep themes to go into for this song, but the song is a ton of fun, and you can hear the playful energy from the Halloween aspects and sound effects (Not an Alien sound effect but maybe a Ghost one lol). The event itself wasn't super special imo, but this is definitely one of the standout songs for events as it's super unique. 23:15 [Absolute Maker] Indivillia is the boss of the 2nd Half Anniversary Event, Last Kingdom. Which you actually listened to Clarion Call last time, the main theme of the event. Anywys, Indivillia is a Heratic. Indivillia DOES have a second form, but the one you think is her second form is actually another Rapture character which is important, but not Indivilla. As for her, like most Heratics, she's very arrogant and believes that whatever she does, she improves upon it. She herself has a tendency to absorb Nikke's and recreate them or use their parts herself hence the "Absolute Maker" motif of how everything she touches becomes perfect. 26:15 [Afterglow] This is actually one of the newer songs so I'm not as in depth familiar with it as I'd like to be, apologies for that, but it's the boss theme for the new Boss, Mirror Container. It's definitely an intense fight both in game and in lore. The Boss itself isn't particularly special story wise, but it's associated with an incredibly important character and it's the last piece of the puzzle needed to bring everything together, and time is not on your side. I don't want to say more as fear of spoilers. 32:14 [Colorless] This is actually from the most recent event, save for the Current Collab event going on with Evangelion. The Character in Question, Zwei. And yeah, you kind of nailed it on the head without the extra issues that living inside Nikke provide lol. She doesn't have any dreams, or anything to aspire to, she doesn't know what she wants to do with her future. So, she feels like everything is so, well. Colorless. And she's dulling and washing out the bright colors of her friends who have dreams and aspirations, all she can do is make sure their dreams come true. The idea is that in the event, we need to help her realize that "The whole world isn't meant to be so colorless.". 47:37 [THE REDHOOD] LET'S GOOOO! The climatic theme of the 1st Anniversary event, Red Ash featuring none other than, who else, but Red Hood herself. Man, I love this song, been my main menu theme since I've gotten it. There is a lot I WANT to say but won't for the sake of spoilers. You aren't too far off, She knows her time is almost up, as does everyone due to something that get revealed early on in the event. But She can't give up yet, there's one last fight she has to make, for the sake of humanity, but more importantly, for the sake of her squad, for her family. This song is all about her Rebellious spirit and the dying embers of her flame shining just as bright as they always have, if not more so. And she won't let anyone take away what's important to her, not while she's still alive to fight got it. 50:48 [We Rise] You've brought it up a few times, but this is the true "Title Theme" of the game. This is what plays when you first start the game, and it downloads. As well as whenever you have to update it. It's a pretty good theme, but you're right. As it's the first theme it's not too deep in any one direction or Nikke. But as the game and story as a whole. Save for some exceptions, you aren't wrong to assume it's an anthem for Nikke's or even Humanity as a whole, at least those fighting to retake back the surface. It's about fighting against the Raptures and taking back the future that was stolen from Humanity, as well as the surface, their old home. As for your discussion, Glad to hear you're still enjoying the music and everything else you've experienced. I agree, in that Shift Up does a really good job in making their characters interesting and memorable. As much as the fanservice can go crazy, this game is so much more, so I'm glad to see people take the chance and dive in, to see what it's really what it has going for it. Be it story, music, or anything else.
I'm very grateful and glad that the game doesn't just solely focus on fan service and that they actually put a lot of emphasis and importance on the characters and the lore of the world as well. Makes me really appreciate the effort they put into it from their music to the trailers I've seen so far!
Love your reaction! also 22:17 They actually are police officer and yes they're quietly chaotic squad albeit unintentionally. Poli the leader of this squad(White hair girl in the middle) allegedly is a nikke that may or may not has a dog DNA mixed in her so from time to time she behave like one. Miranda(Brown hair girl in bottom left) upright but clumsy and Quiry(Pink hair girl in bottom right) has really bad eyesight and is the newest member of the squad so her first major job is this event which is last year halloween. The event itself is about them trying to solve the mystery of someone...or something handing out treats to childens but it taste so bad that if you ate it you can't taste anything for the night.
22:42 the alien sound It's because the event happened on Halloween. And all this chaotic vibe is because of what happens in this event, where the squad shown A.C.PU, has to resolve. If you remember the trailers, they are shown as the ARK police.
With how bad my memory is, I barely remember things from the trailers and PVs I watched now. BUT that'll be a good thing when the time comes for me to play the game. Hopefully. hahaha Either way, I do quite like the police group~ They're so much fun (from the music)!
@@Trailblazer_Ririna Each of them has a unique personality that makes the whole interaction always fun. I personally adore Poli, the one with fluffy hair.
I'm not gonna spoil anything so Yes in the current time "Pilgrim" is a legend nobody in ARK ever saw them, it as just a rumor or story but the song has this vibe because it is a Goddess Squad theme song.
@Trailblazer_Ririna I don't know if I'm right but I think all the nikkes in the goddess squad are all people from fairytale for example red hood is from little red ridding hood, and snow white is well, snow white and others that I forgot the name to.
@@vincenthernandez3236 something like that, Pilgrims are Nikke that does not have the luxury of Ark and were able to survive up the surface. As for Goddess Squad, they are mostly the fabled Grimm models which are earlier nikke models based off of fairy tale characters that were built with lots of money for the sake of humanity's survival. Unfortunately, they are also the ones that ended up staying on the surface to fend for themselves. They're indeed legends who fought for a greater purpose than any others.
@@Ace_CentriC kinda, the other from Goddess squad are, Scarlet is not, because she is not a Grimm/Fairy Tale Model, she not a mass produced or normal nikke but she is not a fairy tale one either Iam pretty sure the term Grimm Models is a engish translation i think JP its called Fairy Tale models
Re dash became like an anthem for red hood's fans, its not a coincidence she was voted the #1 popular character in the second poll with dorothy being second and scarlet also in top 5. Goddess squad sweeping through.
"Got my girlfriends by my side Grinning face, fearless and wild For every fight, for every scar We do a shot at every bar" I love these lyrics , they get my so hyped up !
@24:00 The gorilla looking Rapture is Chatterbox and he's a different entity than Indivilia (the woman with the sword tail also in the song) but they sorta work together but Chatterbox specifically is a VERY important character who shows up throughout your journey.
Colorless was a very bittersweet experience, it was the event that came just before the current collab and was the continuation of another event called "School of lock". sadly the event won't be back in the archives for a while (because of how recent it is) but School of lock is playable in the archives currently. Colorless has joined the list of events that i would recommend to new players, other events i would recommend are: Miracle snow, Overzone, Nya nya paradise, School of lock, Red ash, New year new sword, Boom's day, Last kingdom and D.ark hero.
ACPU Freeze won the recent community polls "Best OST"... 26:35 That is an understatement... Its the latest chapters Final Boss OST... 45:53 Lyrics sums up Red hood's Personally..
@@Trailblazer_RirinaYep Context: This boss is a corrupted weapon of a certain nikke named after a Famous fairytale Character (aside from the ones you already know so far) "Wink wink" Its not much of a spoiler right???
The comments basically: "Let me just give some context. This song shows the interaction between Neuvilette and Kuki Shinobu whom he learns is his long lost daughter in 3 business days... but those arent spoilers right?"
23:26 That's a pretty simple and spot on analysis. Another thing to notice is that every one of the nikke/heritic bosses is named after an ideology. So Indivillia is named after individualism hence the very self-centered point of view.
@@Trailblazer_Ririna All Nikkes are named with a theme behind them. The Heretics are named after ideologies. Indivillia - Individualism Anachiro - Anarchism Modernia - Modernism Liberalio - Liberalism Nihilister - Nihilism
Afterglow is great. It’s the theme from the Chapter 32 boss. I can’t give context without spoilers. But for a lot of players that aren’t whales, it’s also one of the harder fights. Also, the program that artists use to modulate the pitch of their voice is called Autotune. It has bad connotations for being used as a crutch, but if used well, it can make some cool synth-sounding voice effects.
Good analysis of the music tbh. I will say, however, that even though I think you got the themes of the music right, sometimes the song doesn't always match what the actual event or nikke is about one to one and feels more like they were just focused on making good music that matches the overall vibe of the event. So, it's not your fault if your interpretation of a character or event is slightly off. For example, the Colorless event is a coming of age story like you mentioned, but it's actually about the Nikke Zwei seeing herself as being colorless, not life. She struggles with feeling worthy of having dreams or goals like those around her who she claims are bright and full of color. She also struggles because she has seen many of her comrades who she thinks were colorful and ambitious die in the past, and she feels that she should have died instead of them because she is 'colorless.'
How interesting! That's good to know~ In any case, the fact that I got the themes of the music right does show that the composer did a great job (even if it doesn't always match what the actual event or Nikke is about)! Makes me look forward to learning more about the Nikkes and checking out more music from this game~
I adore colourless as a song so much, initially I didn't care too much about zwei as a nikke, but them the event and that song in particular made me relate so much to her feelings
Now, I'm very curious about Zwei as a character in the story. Ahhhh, so many good characters in this game, just from the trailers, PVs, and music, so far!
Woah these are really good and accurate interpretations on the music and the commentary overall gives the vibe of a high level artistic and musical background. I’ve watched a few musicians like drummers guitarists and opera singers react to the Nikke OST and that same level of analysis and critique is present here. I hope this becomes a thing as more Nikke tracks get released!
I'm thankful for the compliment! I guess my days of playing in an orchestra and playing instruments back in the day have not been in vain, after all! haha Definitely look forward to checking out more of the Nikke OST~
No worries! It's just that a lot of links get hidden by YT, so a lot of times, I can never see those comments, even on my end. And there should be a part 3 eventually since I do have another playlist!
Your assessments for these songs were very spot on throughout this video, I feel that in part speaks to how well the composers are able to evoke the emotions they intend to and fit the themes to the stories and characters they are connected to. A.C.P.U. FREEZE! was the winner in the last popularity poll for the best event theme (which is understandable, who doesn't love some electro swing?) but my personal favorite was the Red Ash theme because of the rock energy and how well the lyrics convey who Red Hood is as a character!
Yes, I agree with that! The composer definitely knows what they're doing and did an awesome job at showcasing what needed to be showcased -- and in this case, it would be the themes of the story and/or the characters that they're connecting it to.
btw nikke has a currently ongoing Neon Genesis Evangelion collab. The Chainsaw Man and Re Zero collabs were weird but the Nier Automata and NGE collabs I feel really fit the world of Nikke.
@@Trailblazer_Ririna Btw I should warn you nikke collab banners are a bit weird because they follow the normal nikke 1 new character per banner philosophy. Asuka's banner is currently up, next will be Rei's then Mari's. There will be a 7 day period where both Asuka and Rei's banner are up simultaneously then when Asuka is rolled away, Mari will drop the last 7 days of Rei's banner. The Nikke devs are honestly underappreciated. They roll out a new nikke every 15 days and each nikke has an 8 month dev cycle.
Awesome stuff Ririna! Among the songs present in the video, Colorless is the one I put on repeat. Much of what you mention in your reaction of the song is indeed what the featured character, Zwei, struggles to come to terms with in her story.
Mirror Container is the latest chapter boss. Also one of the hardest so far. The boss itself contains major spoiler because you know the owner of that boss is on my profile pic 🤣
Pretty spot on with all of these although with some missing context for obvious reasons, lol. There's something of a companion song for "re dash: the redhood" called "hold you tight". Nikke's music is great and we keep getting more great songs. Even 200+ tracks in. Also fair warning: the first phase boss theme for indivilia is called "headless angel" and was a song from a band named "queen bee". Be careful with streaming/reacting to this song as the band is from Sony Music and their copyright bots are *very* aggressive...
The first song "Dilemma" is about the squad Perilous Siege with the members D and K (yes those are their names: D on the left, K on the right) and their event is about making impossible choices (or choices that have no correct answer) and is a very fitting theme for D's introduction to the roster (K is still in NPC jail currently) who tasks you (the player) with making a difficult choice where neither option is right for her to follow through and......execute....shall we say
@Trailblazer_Ririna I will be VERY interested in your reaction to the school setting that Zwei is from. Especially considering you may have a different reaction going into it as your first introduction to the school is going to be through the current collab event. Whereas ours was through School of Lock but features most of the same characters.
HECK YEAH!!! It's nice to hear when I'm pretty accurate with a lot of things~ I guess my lack of caffeine that day wasn't too much of a hinder (aside from my brain farts about certain terms from time to time). haha
Love the reaction and analysis. You're quite on the nose with many things you've assumed! I hope you end up liking the game enough when you play it and end up finding the context for yourself for these pieces of music. I remember when I first started playing this game that I thought that this game has no business having such a great and varied OST. It's definitely one of those types of games that the music is something I tend to look forward to alongside the story and character releases.
I am?!? It's always great when I'm able to get a lot of things right (or at least somewhat accurate)~ hehe I seriously can't wait for Friday now. Just what kind of story will I experience... Ahhhh, I look forward to it!
Few song from this compilation hit a bit harder when you know the context of the event they’re tied to. But most of them are just bangers even without any prior knowledge, which is great. And “ACPU freeze” is one of the tunes I listen while working, so that’s that. Welding never felt so chill.
@@spaceman112211 there were mechanics to Mirror Container? i was overleved to it, may be that why i through was ease, at Motherwhale and Nihilister i was Underleveled....may be it how i dont remember... I think Nihilister was de most dificult because there a lot mechanics that you need to do stuff, lots of times, motherwhale dont have that many only at the start, because you need to kill all mobs before the shield is up around 1 minute and something, just as they spawn, but there is more a hold first burst for then then really a hard mechanics.
Great analysis! Love to hear all your reactions, I'll look forward to see your first time playing, And be careful of spoilers, the story is very worthy and so good, the first impression is a joy by itself Hope people can understand or promote spam if a spoiler is in the chat that day ❤ great vid!
Thank you for enjoying my reactions~ Thankfully, I have a pretty bad memory, so even if someone were to say a spoiler, as long as no one brings attention to it, I'm very likely to forget within a day or a few days. haha XD
To answer what you said about the Nikkes becoming giant boss monsters, it is only a VERY specific subset of Nikkes known as Heretics, which are essentially Rapture commanders. The one who Absolute Maker is about is named Indivilia, and you don't get to see her transformed form (though you can make it out in the dust after the snap), the giant monster you see is named Chatterbox, and as of now aside from the Heretics he is the one and only Rapture able to communicate using huan language.
You are correct about your assumptions with Pilgrims as they have more relations to the story and it is so interesting. In the game, they are considered Uber Super Rare and hard to get which reflects on their abilities and prowess in turn shows how important they were and are throughout the story. Other side stories have their own uniqueness to them but they are more present focused compared to the Pilgrims.
They're THAT HARD to get?!? I mean that makes sense since they are legendary or legends in the lore of that world. But dang, I kinda wanted to get at least one. I guess that would be difficult! haha
@@Trailblazer_Ririna well when ya first start out the chances are you should be able to get about 2-3 of the pilgrims (4 if you include 1 particular feature of the game but it’s a spoiler so can’t say who) but eventually you can get all of them overtime, just takes perseverance. Once ya start playing though I’ll watch your stream and we will all help ya when ya have questions.
You were pretty spot on with these even without the context. I started playing this for the memes, but stayed for the story and the music. I hope you will find the music and story intriguing as well.
It’s very interesting and fun seeing what you can gleam from the music, NIKKE has a lot of music with vocals, some are more plot relevant then others. With not trying to spoil anything A.C.P.U. Freeze is the theme to fun goofy Halloween event and Goddess of Victory for example is attached to a very lore heavy event. Regardless hopefully you enjoy NIKKE enough to get very familiar with more of the music after giving it a try.
I think I recognized the Goddess of Victory one from the castle looking event (I believe it was for an anniversary? or maybe it was for one of the other Pilgrim focused trailers). But now, I get why there was that sound effect for ACPU Freeze! haha Fits very well in that case. Can't wait to play Nikke this Friday!
12:14 … Shift Up did this event’s wallpaper so god damn dirty… 13:23 no. These ones are THE Goddess Squad. Humanity’s strongest, finest shields. They’re the only legendary ones.
Super glad I got around to making this playlist lol There are many other songs I wanted to add, but I don't think the other Composers upload their songs to RUclips... You can still find some of the other Nikke songs on Spotify though, if I'm not mistaken. My favorite Boss song for example, is Kraken by Blacklolita.
Same! I'm really glad that you made the playlist. And now that I have another playlist to use for more Nikke OST videos, it'll be a lot easier to know what to expect after using yours. haha
I recommend some of the themes without lyrics. >Destined to Fight - The theme music for Syuen the CEO of Missilis and the first direct antagonist of the main character. >The Moving Fortress - theme for the train boss Alteisen. Every player gets stuck on the Special Interception boss and it feels like a huge accomplishment when you can finally reliably beat it. It helps that the music is great. >One-winged Dark Lord - theme of Guillotine. A nikke that barely appears in the main story but arguably has the best theme music that isn't a full song. >Disaster - often plays during the main story during intense situations >Splinter - theme for co-op. Goes way harder than it should. >Reach for the Stars - theme song for ReZero collab
Hopefully, these are all in the next playlist I was given. But if not, then I recommend creating a playlist and then sending the link my way via my Server! Thank you!
@@Trailblazer_Ririna "Reach for the Stars" is the co-op theme for the Re:Zero collab, sung by vtuber Miori Celesta. Not the first time Cosmograph has collabed with vtubers with music. There's "Satellites" (AmaLee/Monarch), "Universal Spice" (duo with Idol-EN's Shabel Tonya), and "Lucky Night" (also by Shabel Tonya).
Welcome back to the Nikke jam Ririna :) Just as previously, I'll give you spoiler-free extra context. -Dilemma was the title track for License to Kill. The duality comes from it being the first event focused on government mandated assassins tasked with taking down individuals deemed dangerous for society on top of the effects such a profession would have on someone, specifically D in this case (that's her code name). They're the only Nikkes capable of killing humans, which in theory is a boundary other Nikkes never have to feel weigh on their conscience. -Goddess of Victory is the main battle theme during the Overzone event (still to this day one of the highest regarded event). I wish I could explain the background to Pilgrims, but that'd frankly be a huge spoiler for Overzone, Red Ash and a few other chapters. What I can say is that Pilgrims are almost exclusively on the surface, powerful, and in incredibly small numbers. -A.C.P.U. FREEZE! is the title track for the event of the same name. It's a lighter tone Halloween event from the perspective of the A.C.P.U. (the Ark's police squad) trying to make sure the festivities go smoothly. The squad is certainly about maintaining order and safety, but they do indeed each have their little quirks (as most Nikkes do). They mean well at the very least. -Absolute Maker is Indivillia's 2nd phase. She's the final boss of the 1.5 anniversary Last Kingdom event, but she comes around in a few modes (most relevant, the new endgame Interception level). She's the black-clad tanned one in the PV, and while she does transform twice (technically thrice, previously), her upper forms aren't displayed in the video. The hulking one is Chatterbox, another recurring villain. She absolutely carries a presence of superiority which is fitting considering they are attacking the Last Kingdom, where Crown reigns as king. Ironically, this anniversary event is the closest one to the current timeline, but I can understand the aged vibes. -Afterglow is the Mirror Container boss track for the latest story chapter as of now (also included in the new endgame Interceptions). Trying to stay as spoiler free as possible again, this is about an ancient legendary Nikke and her corrupted weaponry. Canonically, she would have been meant to be beyond anyone in her time and was believed to be long gone. Anything more is spoilers but mirrors and glass are definitely appropriate :( -Colorless is the title track of the same named event. It's about Zwei, one of the main named students and sort of connects the small school-arc we've been having lately. It also somewhat connects to the current Evangelion collab (sort of). Picture what a school for Nikkes might entail and you'll get an idea of what's going on. -The Redhood is Red Hood's official track prominently used in the highlights of the Red Ash event (I know, lots of red). It does come after Hold You Tight, but it was also the main preview track for the entire first year anniversary. In current times, the few that remember regard her as the strongest Nikke in history. Can't say anything more. -We Rise is the track that plays during the download screen (cuz yeah, this game decided to have a full animated PV and anthem play while you download updates). It was also used in the pre-release promos, but it's not focusing on anyone specifically though it did set the bar for what could be possible from Shift Up.
Every Nikke normally has a built-in limiter that makes sure they can't hurt humans akin to the laws of robotics (they call em NYMPH). Still, as D is a secret hire of the government, if she's assigned a target and they are indeed guilty, she can take it out (it's why every art of her has a bodybag somewhere). Of course, if she killed someone that was actually innocent, she'd be terminated. You're very welcome. Sorry I probably won't be around on the 30th to answer your questions as they come, but I'll try to retroactively answer in case something remains.
Honestly, it is a lot of fun guessing what the song could be about! XD Can't wait to do more of these types of videos! And of course, for this upcoming Friday's stream~
Some of these musics r from events, u can’t get collab ones unless u play them when released, but u can still get the music from other events since those will appear in archives for u to play if u missed them after some time, only thing is u hav to get these films that unlock the archives for u to play the event, the events also gives nice wallpaper too, looking forward to which event u aim for first in archives
Hopefully, someone has recorded the collab ones so that I can check them out one day! But if not, then I guess that's fine too. haha Can't wait to play the game this Friday though~
0:12 Event from Nikke. Where you will have to make a very heavy decision. Really good writing~ 12:04 Another Event Mission This time it's a story from the past from 100 year ago, related to the Pilgrim Nikkes you'll meet in the Main Story One of the main reasons why Nikke's Story writing is so good. 32:15 Recently ended Event Very good story about a Nikke with PTSD. 47:39 Event about everyone's favorite, Horny but Cool Nikke. 😉
Absolute Maker is so good, because not only is it a banger, but it's so character defining. "Warriors! Everything belongs to me!" It's so full of narcissistic energy that only someone utterly self-centered can have it as a theme for them, and true enough, Indivilia really is that selfish. Her name being derived from "individualism" is no coincidence.
I really like your analysis, it's surprising accurate how you picked that up from the song alone. Heck all your analysis are close. The life of Pilgrims are bitter sweet, there's many glory and despair in their life. The reason Pilgrims are loved by commanders is because they're plain strong in the game. But they're strong because they have the hardest life, they're humbled by their hardship, they serve a greater purpose and they know it. It's hard to enlist their busy time as well so it makes sense that their pull rate is abysmal. You should try listen to Cosmograph's music list, such as "Pilgrim". Gets you in the mood.
YAY! It's nice to hear that I was pretty close~ hehe I always do tend to like the characters who are considered powerful, due to hardships, and who serve a greater purpose. Makes me excited to see them in the main story or even in the event stories in the future!
*N* ow that the day of the livestream is closing in, please bring a tissue box... just in case! *I* 'm still extremely entertained by listening to these interpretations *K* eep this up! Haha now that's an awesome comment right there! I shall strive to just wipe all tears and snot on my arm sleeve. LOL Glad to hear that you're enjoying these Nikke videos too~
The fact that someone can analyze the music and extrapolate the story to a good degree without any previous knowledge of the game just goes to show that the composer did such an amazing job at showcasing what they wanted to express through the music!
"rusted parts inside" could refer to red hood (and everyone else lol) being in constant battle, as you know a tool that has been used a lot and took quite the beating will wear out quickly even if maintained properly hence "rusted parts inside" as metaphor that like us a human are tiring out from endless battle Dont forget that eva collab has started in nikke
@@Trailblazer_RirinaThe OverZone event is a hell of an experience. If you ever get to it you'll understand our pain and why some of us de-level our units for the fight. 😢
It's because Goddess of Victory is played as the battle theme song in Overzone event. (You can even play the whole event in Archieve Playback) As an event they used a small power required to pass each stages, we the veteran needed to listen to the song used an unused Nikke to make our power lower or even desync level to make relevant Nikke (Goddess Squad & Product23) to play in the event for lore accurate feeling.
I find myself enjoying more casual progression type of games that has a good story, world building, and character development, so this makes me happy to hear! I'm not much of an avid gamer, after all, and prefer a more relaxing experience in that sense. haha
To be more specific without getting into spoilers much pilgrim is the designation for nikkes whos completely independent of the ark, has no mayor current connection to it, its true manufacturer is not been cleared/its lost to time, and lives on the surface daily. Being of legend is optional.
@@Trailblazer_Ririna yup and ingame to show how special they are i think on the standard banner pull the chance of a pilgrim are the LOWEST in the game, because two of the most overall powerful attacker units in the game are pilgrim. One of them being red hood herself, being the most powerful single target destroyer, perfect for when you want a boss to be reduced to atoms and then theres modernia aka THE crowd control master, she is the best pest/vermin unit destroyer because whats best than a full auto machine gun? A full auto machine gun with infinite ammo that also has AoE.
Hi I see you have some questions for NIKKE songs and I have answers so first song shows two characters named D and K not joking those are there names next so has Snow White, Rapunzel, Scarlet, and Dorthy of the goddess squad next one after shows poli, Miranda, and Quiry of the A.C.P.U after glow doesn’t really have a NIKKE attached but it is a song from the latest chapters succession aka 31 and 32 so ya next we have Zwei for the song colorless next is the song The RedHood featuring…Red Hood and the last song is just basic so ya that should be all the references in all the songs and ya can’t wait for your NIKKE stream but probably gonna watch the vod for it so ya that’s all have some good first ten pull and ya bye
I guess one thing to say if you’re also gonna play NIKKE on mobile please play it on a good phone my phone mostly struggles when I play and I had three times it crashed when I was trying to beat a boss so ya just a heads up ok bye
I guess it wasn't included in the playlist! Maybe, it'll be in the next one, but if not, then I recommend creating a playlist that includes the song and then sending it to me later. XD
@@Trailblazer_Ririna it’s find! Thanks for your reaction and pay attention to the vocal, instrument, atmosphere and lyrics of the music. It’s fun to watch!

"FEAR RISES AS A GUIDE"
"WE FIGHTTTTTT THE FALLLLL"
Damn that hits hard with context
Gosh darn, I wish I had the context, but probably should wait to experience it myself!
Dude, lower down with posible spoilers@@liesandy291
Doro
"Our shoulders bear the Ark-" "Of Lost Souls Wandering in the Dark" yeah impossibly important to the lore of what happens in OverZone.
Context for Nikke OSTs pt 2:
- Dilemma (Event OST for "License to Kill", the first event involving Perilous Siege, the assassin squad. They are all morality-based and it sometimes screws with you)
- Goddess of Victory (Battle OST. I forgot where it's actually played)
- ACPU Freeze (Event OST for "ACPU Freeze". Apparently the most popular of all Nikke OSTs, enough to win the 1.5 Anniversary poll. Also the Halloween song)
- Absolute Maker (Boss theme for "Indivillia" on her 2nd phase. Her 1st phase song is "Headless Angel", a song no one can play on stream because Sony will be right there to DMCA you to oblivion)
- Afterglow (Boss theme for "Mirror Container". It's very recent.)
- Colorless (Event OST for "Colorless". The best song they have currently, and is something that I jammed to for 30 minutes after my Nikke stream)
- Red Hood (One of the many event OSTs for "Red Ash", only plays in the climax of the event story)
- We Rise (The opening song of the game, plays when you download or update it)
Pretty good list, tho I like We're Never Giving Up and In Neverland.. Oh yeah new summer event music and Boom
Goddess of Victory is the battle BGM for the OverZone event
@Trailblazer_Ririna good thing is you get this basically immediately after launching the game
They definitely sound quite chaotic in a different sense! How fun of a group~ hehe
@@Trailblazer_Ririna
@@outrogabriel Fluffy is the best... i mean... Poli is the best!
I'm not gonna spoil anything so Yes in the current time "Pilgrim" is a legend nobody in ARK ever saw them, it as just a rumor or story but the song has this vibe because it is a Goddess Squad theme song.
Ooo, so they are considered legends! That's awesome! So that means that we get to experience THE legends themselves... hehe
@Trailblazer_Ririna I don't know if I'm right but I think all the nikkes in the goddess squad are all people from fairytale for example red hood is from little red ridding hood, and snow white is well, snow white and others that I forgot the name to.
@@vincenthernandez3236Dorothy the lady with a pink hair from Wizard of OZ, Rapunzel is the one in Nun outfit, Scarlet(Guren) from Korean folklore...
@@Ace_CentriC kinda, the other from Goddess squad are, Scarlet is not, because she is not a Grimm/Fairy Tale Model, she not a mass produced or normal nikke but she is not a fairy tale one either
Iam pretty sure the term Grimm Models is a engish translation i think JP its called Fairy Tale models
Re dash became like an anthem for red hood's fans, its not a coincidence she was voted the #1 popular character in the second poll with dorothy being second and scarlet also in top 5. Goddess squad sweeping through.
YIPPEE FOR GODDESS SQUAD!
13:22 I'll just say some are considered "legendary" and others are more so Nikkes who wander the surface. Each with their own motives and goals.
Another reason to love them more~ haha
"Got my girlfriends by my side
Grinning face, fearless and wild
For every fight, for every scar
We do a shot at every bar"
I love these lyrics , they get my so hyped up !
@24:00 The gorilla looking Rapture is Chatterbox and he's a different entity than Indivilia (the woman with the sword tail also in the song) but they sorta work together but Chatterbox specifically is a VERY important character who shows up throughout your journey.
Oooo, they show up throughout our journey??? How interesting...
NOOOOOOO, sad that I won't be able to play it right away, but that also makes sense. I guess I'll have to wait for it when the time comes~
can't wait for you to experience Nikke. :D
ME TOOOOO!!! Friday... Just a couple more days now!
ACPU Freeze won the recent community polls "Best OST"...
26:35 That is an understatement... Its the latest chapters Final Boss OST...
45:53 Lyrics sums up Red hood's Personally..
It’s the latest chapter’s final boss?!?
@@Trailblazer_RirinaYep
Context:
This boss is a corrupted weapon of a certain nikke named after a Famous fairytale Character (aside from the ones you already know so far) "Wink wink" Its not much of a spoiler right???
The comments basically:
"Let me just give some context.
Oooo, that's a very interesting way to name Nikkes and bosses. An ideology... Makes me wonder what the other bosses are called!
@@Trailblazer_Ririna All Nikkes are named with a theme behind them.
The Heretics are named after ideologies.
Indivillia - Individualism
Anachiro - Anarchism
Modernia - Modernism
Liberalio - Liberalism
Nihilister - Nihilism
Hope you make part 3!
Edit : I Apologize for giving the link on the comment last time.
Can't wait to roll for some people from the Evangelion banner~ Gonna be a lot of fun!
I can't wait to meet Zwei in the game when her event becomes available! Love characters who are quite relatable in some way or form~
Late to the party but Im finally checking this. Notification floods really are something.
overzone is one of the best event in nikke, stone mark the 0.5 annual, but i think miracle chrismas, red ash and last kingdom is also very good event
I just finished part 1 and 2, I'm honestly surprised how you can nail all the story plot line and nuance just from the songs.
Amazing work!
Hehe I'm glad that you're enjoying these~
Mirror Container is the latest chapter boss. Also one of the hardest so far. The boss itself contains major spoiler because you know the owner of that boss is on my profile pic 🤣
Aaaahhhh the 2 songs i recommended are here! ❤
It seems like I'll need to check out more music from Nikke then~ Hehe Can't wait to listen to more!
Can't wait to meet Zwei myself once her event becomes available in the archives! Love it when characters are very relatable (in some way or form)~
@Trailblazer_Ririna I will be VERY interested in your reaction to the school setting that Zwei is from. Especially considering you may have a different reaction going into it as your first introduction to the school is going to be through the current collab event. Whereas ours was through School of Lock but features most of the same characters.
For the first song the two characters shown are named D and K, and funnily enough D got an alt in their event for this year and K is still in NPC jail
Hopefully, K will get out of NPC jail in the future.... one day...
I enjoy watching all of this and I was really surprised you got almost every single songs background story correct. You got this!
HECK YEAH!!! It's nice to hear when I'm pretty accurate with a lot of things~ I guess my lack of caffeine that day wasn't too much of a hinder (aside from my brain farts about certain terms from time to time). haha
Colorless is my favorite in the OST so far ❤
Can’t wait for the reaction for our new Commander, I better see some Commanders say ‘Welcome to NIKKE’
31:40 Spot on, this is such an important and emotional boss fight lorewise
I can see why ACPU Freeze is the one you listen to while working. It's quite a jam~
Im so hyped you're going to play nikke. I can't catch your streams because of timezones so i just watch the stuff you upload
I too am hyped that I'm going to play Nikke! Just one more day after today and then I get to play!
Dilemma, Dirty Backyard and Kill The Lord (that wasn't in this video) are my absolute favorite from this game.
Mirror Container hunts me in my dreams along with Mother Whale and Nihilister
Just how terrifying is the Mirror Container...
@@Trailblazer_Ririnahardest one out there in terms of mechanics, i guess...
Idk if you know about VShojo but they did covers of songs from the game, Matara did a cover of We Rise, It was for the Nikke 1.5 year Anniversary
Great analysis! Love to hear all your reactions, I'll look forward to see your first time playing,
And be careful of spoilers, the story is very worthy and so good, the first impression is a joy by itself
Hope people can understand or promote spam if a spoiler is in the chat that day ❤ great vid!
Thank you for enjoying my reactions~ Thankfully, I have a pretty bad memory, so even if someone were to say a spoiler, as long as no one brings attention to it, I'm very likely to forget within a day or a few days. haha XD
Red ash reaction lets goooo
RED ASH!
Woah, there is a rapture that can actually communicate with humans?!?
I look forward to experiencing all that the game has to offer this Friday!
12:14 … Shift Up did this event’s wallpaper so god damn dirty…
13:23 no. These ones are THE Goddess Squad. Humanity’s strongest, finest shields. They’re the only legendary ones.
21:10 they’re still the police..
Super glad I got around to making this playlist lol
There are many other songs I wanted to add, but I don't think the other Composers upload their songs to RUclips...
>Disaster - often plays during the main story during intense situations
>Splinter - theme for co-op.
Welcome back to the Nikke jam Ririna :)
Just as previously, I'll give you spoiler-free extra context.
Anything more is spoilers but mirrors and glass are definitely appropriate :(
-Colorless is the title track of the same named event.
Dang, they're the only Nikkes capable of killing humans?! That's quite scary.
Also, thank you for the brief explanations for each song~
Every Nikke normally has a built-in limiter that makes sure they can't hurt humans akin to the laws of robotics (they call em NYMPH). Still, as D is a secret hire of the government, if she's assigned a target and they are indeed guilty, she can take it out (it's why every art of her has a bodybag somewhere). Of course, if she killed someone that was actually innocent, she'd be terminated.
You're very welcome.
Sorry I probably won't be around on the 30th to answer your questions as they come, but I'll try to retroactively answer in case something remains.
Its really fun to see how you look at the ost and you analyze them, im waiting for the stream soon and hope you keep enjoying this game i love. ❤
Another music reaction? Yes please! 😆 and one more step closer to experiencing the game! 😄
Now, it's just one more day after today and then I can finally play the game!
26:30
"My brother, come join me / In battle, we are stronger / When Tudor will falter / Sacrificed to their altar."
Good meme 😂
yay another reactions video
I hope you enjoyed watching~

Event from Nikke.
Where you will have to make a very heavy decision.
Really good writing~
12:04
Another Event Mission
This time it's a story from the past from 100 year ago, related to the Pilgrim Nikkes you'll meet in the Main Story
One of the main reasons why Nikke's Story writing is so good.
32:15
Recently ended Event
Very good story about a Nikke with PTSD.
47:39
Event about everyone's favorite, Horny but Cool Nikke. 😉
Oooo, related to the Pilgrim Nikke's we meet in the main story! I assume it's in the most recent chapters?
Comment first before watching, support~
Thank you for the support!
at 19:19
It probably just loop because the actual song track will end with no loop
Honestly, I can't wait for you to start playing
Hehe me too~
If you do a 3rd I recommend In Neverland which was the last Christmas event
Absolute Maker is so good, because not only is it a banger, but it's so character defining.
"Warriors! Everything belongs to me!"
It's so full of narcissistic energy that only someone utterly self-centered can have it as a theme for them, and true enough, Indivilia really is that selfish.
Her name being derived from "individualism" is no coincidence.
It truly is a perfect song for the self-centered character, at least, based on what you said~! hehe
YAY! It's nice to hear that I was pretty close~ hehe
I always do tend to like the characters who are considered powerful, due to hardships, and who serve a greater purpose. Makes me excited to see them in the main story or even in the event stories in the future!
I'd wait for the Lovely Lonely Cat review, my most favorite OST on Nikke.
Hopefully, it's in the next playlist that I was given!
Oh god mirror container, i barely killed it few days ago its a hard af to do so
*N* ow that the day of the livestream is closing in, please bring a tissue box... just in case!
*I* 'm still extremely entertained by listening to these interpretations
*K* eep this up! Can't wait for the stream... and the...
*K* eys... I can't tell what it is too, LOL. And I'll wait...
*E* agerly to see more of these types of videos
Haha now that's an awesome comment right there! I shall strive to just wipe all tears and snot on my arm sleeve. LOL Glad to hear that you're enjoying these Nikke videos too~
Ngl, this time you got some of my favorite songs in the entire game 😁
HECK YEAH! I guess the playlist I was sent was pretty good then~ Got another playlist in my list, so hopefully, those will cover the rest! haha
@@Trailblazer_Ririna Niiiiice 👏👏
its amazing how you can get so much of the story just by analyzing the music
The fact that someone can analyze the music and extrapolate the story to a good degree without any previous knowledge of the game just goes to show that the composer did such an amazing job at showcasing what they wanted to express through the music!
@@Trailblazer_Ririna art in its finest
"rusted parts inside" could refer to red hood (and everyone else lol) being in constant battle, as you know a tool that has been used a lot and took quite the beating will wear out quickly even if maintained properly hence "rusted parts inside" as metaphor that like us a human are tiring out from endless battle
Dont forget that eva collab has started in nikke
That makes a lot of sense actually!
"Dancing by myself to the Afterglow!"
🎶🎶🎶
Goddess of Victory begins to play.... Me Desynching Dorothy, Scarlet, Rapunzel, Snow White and Product 23 (Pinne) to lvl 1 for full experience
To level 1?!?
@@Trailblazer_RirinaThe OverZone event is a hell of an experience. If you ever get to it you'll understand our pain and why some of us de-level our units for the fight. 😢
It's because Goddess of Victory is played as the battle theme song in Overzone event. (You can even play the whole event in Archieve Playback) As an event they used a small power required to pass each stages, we the veteran needed to listen to the song used an unused Nikke to make our power lower or even desync level to make relevant Nikke (Goddess Squad & Product23) to play in the event for lore accurate feeling.
Hope you enjoy the game! It's definitely meant to be a casual progression game, but one that has a good story tied to it compare to most other gachas.
In other words, they're special Nikkes -- is what I'm assuming from that. haha XD
Should you make another Theme Reaction "camilla" and "Dark Matter" are great Songs! :) (i'm glad you heard "afterglow", it's my favorite Boss Theme!)
Hopefully, that's in the second playlist that someone sent me! If not, then eventually, I'll ask for another playlist from others. haha
You should use the subtitles button
Haha yeah, I really should have. Only realized after this video that some had subs
I'll be playing it on my iPad! So hopefully, it'll be all good~
Where’s Laplace’s song Hero?
I guess it wasn't included in the playlist! Maybe, it'll be in the next one, but if not, then I recommend creating a playlist that includes the song and then sending it to me later. XD
23:26 This was spot on because this boss was so annoying to fight lol
It was?!? That's gonna be quite something to experience for myself. haha
28:40 you mean autotuned? ya, and also reverb
YES, YES, THANK YOU! My gosh, I can't believe how brain dead I was -- or more like brain farts during the recording for this. LMAO Thank youuuuuuu!!!
@@Trailblazer_Ririna it’s find! Thanks for your reaction and pay attention to the vocal, instrument, atmosphere and lyrics of the music.
It’s fun to watch!
First :D
YAYYYY!!! Enjoy~ hehe
