    This is as well my personal view from what I have learned . If the Sankalpa (intention) is Making money out of Yoga, then we are creating only more dukkha, and we're not teaching the seekers (students) the real Yoga which is not only Asanas, but transcending the society suffering conditioning. A real Yoga "practitioner" is not someone who might consider him/herself "broke". How? If he/she himself have found the gate to end the karma of being "broke" or whatever label a lost society have had created to submit humans to their vision.
    Yes, living in America and encarnating the yoga vision/philosophy must be an heroic task.

      @buildyouryogabiz  5 лет назад +7

      estebanur1 thank you for your insightful comment! I totally understand and agree with you on certain aspects of money connected with dukkha (suffering). It’s not really the money that causes suffering; its attachment. As physical beings in a temporary physical experience which utilizes money as a means of accessing food and shelter and sensory pleasures, I view money as something sacred that must be tended to through the yogic lens of non attachment. However it can also alleviate suffering to have it - in this physical existence. :-) it’s a delicate situation and highly important to address with presence and understanding...

      It's important to be able to survive. The point I think she is making in this video is " you have to be able to pay your rent and eat food." That there is away to share the love of yoga and be a professional that can make a lively hood.
      All teachers not just yoga, but in fitness, education, etc are struggling to make basic income to survive in the United States.

    I agree privates are important. I also had fellow teach friends do corrperate gigs which usually pay 100 plus.
    I had a really hard time. I earned most of my money through art modeling. Yoga at my most was 4 classes a week. It was really difficult to get private clients. Even when I had a low rate of 70 an hour.
    But I do know more about business now. Idk. I have a lot of fear about trying again.

    Yoga teaching seen as a business, not as a discipline.
    Talking about "making a lot of money...".
    You may have success but... are you teaching yoga, or just a physical activity to rich people?

    Hi shayana, this is my very personal view. Making money out of yoga and meditation is one of the craziest idea people have found out in this world . I know clearly it's out of sheer ignorance. The real benefit you get out of yoga is by teaching freely. Biggest gift or dhana you make is by gifting yoga to someone, because yoga is extremely sacred, you guys have gone completely off the track.

    Can I ask you how much it cost to get certified and do you recommend going out of the states to become certified?

    • @buildyouryogabiz
      @buildyouryogabiz  7 лет назад +1

      Hey Rachel! My training cost me about $3,000 but didn't include housing and food. I did my training in Costa Rica 11 years ago over the course of one month. Teacher trainings have many different price ranges but usually between $2K-$6K. Some also offer payment plan options. I don't think it matters if you go outside the states or not. It depends on what fits best into your lifestyle. :-)

      Build Your Personal Yoga Business Hi! Why these courses are so damn short?! I can't undeestand this. I found one not far from my town. It costs A LOT but it lasts over a month or so. What the hell can I learn in 1 month? It's ridiculous.
      Why it is so?

      I'm doing my training in india and it's $2700 for the full course, all food and board included and it's a very reputation Ashram in Rishikesh - Anand Prakash with Yogrishi Vishvketu. Can't wait. I'll be a yoga teacher at the end of October!! I hope to do retreats as I'm a Clinical Aromatherapist and reflexologist as well. 💕✨🙏🏻✨💕

      Princess Umaru Hello my lovely! I’m not going to India until the end of September but I have a fair idea that it’ll be way more spiritual in India as I’ve checked out several different ashrams both there and in the UK and Ireland. It’s actually cheaper for me to fly to India, stay there, and do my training full board! It was a no-brainer! I wanted the more Indian original practises which swayed my decision as I wanted to include pranayama, asanas, kriyas, and mantra/meditation as well to experience the whole yoga living as I intend to continue living the lifestyle after I return home as well to be a good role model for any students I have. I’m currently practising daily either meditation, yoga, mantra and happy eating/drinking to prepare but I’m loving it so much I’m going to just carry on. Been veggie and going vegan too to complete the lifestyle change by the time I’m in india. Much love to you and I hope your yoga journey is as amazing as mine is 💕💕

    If you are teaching yoga to chase money, you should quit teaching yoga; that is not what yoga is about.

    • @buildyouryogabiz
      @buildyouryogabiz  3 года назад +1

      I agree. Chasing money is not the goal. Being open to receiving energy in the form of money as an exchange for sharing wisdom and serving others (if you live in the material world and choose to do this as a career) is a different story.

    The last spot to find the best video about making money! Jajajaja. Thanks a lot. Another good reason to stay away from yoga: yoga teachers are trying to make money, not to help people understand their karmas.

    • @buildyouryogabiz
      @buildyouryogabiz  3 года назад +3

      Why can’t yoga teachers do both? Receive abundance and help people. Money is a sacred energy currency. We live in the material world.

    • @primerest6421
      @primerest6421 2 года назад

      assumption. here you cultivate hatred towards people using money - negative karma. what you speak of lies in every spiritual tradition money involved or not

    • @julianavarrete2959
      @julianavarrete2959 2 года назад

      Not necessarily. Even you can learn by yourself as I am doing it. Self taught here and I can convert or help myself with asanas and breath in and out properly as well but able to keep going and nothing wrong with that.
      A provider charge lots and you wait in the lobby for almost 2 hours just to be seen 15 mts..
      Patient keep canceling or rescheduling appt. For the more crazy reason..it should be a fee for cancelation....or when people have a history of no show as well...
      Isn't just about money...is about time as well..Life and Time are more expensive in this world.
