This scene is so so freaking good. It's hysterical but it is also so sweet and supportive and so true especially what Marc said about Justin needing to be fine with it. Ugh this show was the best!
This and Love, Simon's straight people come out scene says it all. The expectation of gay people having to make a big scene about this is very annoying.
@@itgetsbetter9455 no, no, this is when they found out he was going out with Austin, and therefore that he's gay although he had never actually told them. That's Marc's whole point about the party, that coming out is about the other person telling _you_ when they're ready to tell you, not you telling _them_ you already know whether or not they're ready for you to know. This episode was the next-to-last of the whole series.
Even after all they've been through together and in this current situation, Marc still finds a way to bust Betty's proverbial balls even though she had nothing to do with it!
shit !!!!! , I'm tired of these shows, I would give anything to have an accepting family like this , words can't describe how unbelievabley suffocated I feel every single day to live in a word where I can't be who I am
Well the point was partly that it should be up to Justin when he wants to come out but chiefly that Marc was acting irrationally because when he came out to his mother she said that she didn't want anything to do with him and he's taking out all his issues with that out on what this family is doing.
Oh it's definitely to much I should start watching this aswell. And you shouldn't throw party's for gay people like this ,and they can definitely have a favorite color.
If I were gay and my family ever did something like that, as soon as I would walk through the door way I would be on the ground dead...DEAD (sorry a little too much?)
Sort of, they come over to meet his boyfriend and Marc admits to himself that one of his reasons for being against them showing their support like this is that his own mother never did, but the point is, his family is fine with it, Justin is fine with it, and Marcs looking out for him
No, they take all the decorations down before Justin gets home. Then at the end of the episode, he comes out to them and they show their support for him. BWF

I love how Betty is casually putting on the strawberry lip balm when she says "Who are we talking about?"
MediaLover194 WAIT is this the justin that was dating austin BECAUSE I DID NOT WANT THEM TO BREAK UP DID THEY BREAK UP?!?!?
SOMEONE TELL ME!!!!please
I just now noticed that for the first time.

Omg so funny
"They like to make entrances" lmfaooo
Yes we do!!! I always do when I walk into class😂😂😂
Vivian Darkbloom the shade LMFAO 😂🤣
I also like to make entrances
Lol they like their exits too 😅
The party was absolutely over the top, but the entire concept was so beautiful! Every family in the world should be that accepting and supportive
I love how Betty is like “why am I the one who has to know better?” 😆
What I love about this is that both Marc and the family have really good points
Indeed, but Marc is more right, you do not throw a 'surprise' coming out party for someone.
Omg I love Hilda she is so freakin awesome she Completely put aside her wedding and focused on her child.
"Gays do not have a favorite color. They like them all." 💀
God I miss this show 😭
I laughed SO HARD at this I almost even cried LOL.
marc has got to be my favorite character on this show. just this scene alone is proof
Lol I kind of wish my family did that when I came out...some people say it's to much but I think what Justin's family does is so sweet!
I secretly want the Suarezes to be my family.
beatmyfacexoxo i’m fairly extroverted and I would hate this
I came out really abruptly but I wish my family did this for me, it would’ve made it so much easier!
This scene is so hilarious xD
Even after all they've been through together and in this current situation, Marc still finds a way to bust Betty's proverbial balls even though she had nothing to do with it!
That is the worst possible thing you could do to a teen. Auntie Mark was correct
Ugly Betty was so ahead of its TIME
"WE KNOW YOU'RE GAY AND THAT'S OKAY"
'WE KNOW YOURE GAY AN THAT OK'
Marc is so hilarious
You almost want to watch Marc running across the city to stop the madness
i would do anything to have family and people like this in my life....
shit !!!!! , I'm tired of these shows, I would give anything to have an accepting family like this , words can't describe how unbelievabley suffocated I feel every single day to live in a word where I can't be who I am
you know you're not alone right? cheer up..
That’s up to you not other people. That is the secret

Yup, the party is kind of a weird idea. But it sure beats being disowned.
“Gays do you not have a favorite color. They like them all.”
Me, a gay guy, who hates yellow: 👀
"Gays don't have a favorite color, they like them all."
Bitch, my favorite color is purple. Though maybe I don't count 'cause I'm Pan. Haha.
...THEY LIKE 'EM ALL.
MARC'S SO FUNNY!!!
He said don't tell anyone and this is what happens when you tell everyone
Oh it's definitely to much I should start watching this aswell. And you shouldn't throw party's for gay people like this ,and they can definitely have a favorite color.
Hahahahaha HES AN EXPERT!!!!!
If I were gay and my family ever did something like that, as soon as I would walk through the door way I would be on the ground dead...DEAD (sorry a little too much?)
Olivia J-L nope underdone
I think it would have been funny if Justin had come to the party, i would’ve loved to see his reaction!
way ahead of the time. coming out party jajaj
Haha I loved that scene. Can watch it over and over!
Me being gay is like noooo don’t do it
Awww I wish my family was this supportive :/
I just came out to my family and I have to agree with Marc 😂🏳️🌈
Did the straight family members come out of the attic? ◀️. Use that.
Oh how I needed to laugh. ❤
Poor Justin Lmao
Where can I get a starter kit?
"MIJA!"
please bring it back!!!
Theres no way they didn’t know he was gay, you could tell from miles away 😂😂
Hey I'm gay and my mom was accepting
Omg that party just no.
Why do I have to know better. It's not like I can everyone mind people. Right?
What is this show
Ugly Betty, it's on Netflix
+Jose Butter Only the best thing since sliced bread! lol
I understand you expect him but this is going a bit to much. He should come out when he wants to
I think even if a family doesn't agree with the homosexulaity lifestyle, they should accept their child being happy.
Now who says gays don't have a favorite color?
soo....what happens after that?? do they do it anyway??

BWF
Justin is not gay in real life
Yes he is
Not that it's relevant to this, but yes, he is.
