Im mainly interested in them because they use ThinkMarkets as a broker, you are seeing a huge shift of firms using eightcap, which is great but they execution speed and slippage is unbearable for scalpers. Think markets have super quick execution speeds. hopefully only improvements will come from this in time.

The fees are ridiculous, I traded today -$50 but my daily drawdown is -$115 due to the fees.

Having no time limit is the sweet spot in the prop firm industry.. it would also be better if prop firms will publish there monthly/ quarterly/yearly income report to the public..
That's public information either way. But if I owned one, i wouldn't share that. It's too "private"

Thx, for ur honest opinion, always greatly appreciated! But I cannot agree with what you said about slipage. I used eightcap in my private account and the slippage was not as bad as when trading with my funded FX. And when it comes to spread they are ok but not great, at least in regard to indices. In general I personally will tend to a futures prop firm like topstep, altho the rules and price are not as competitive as the CFD prop firms, they have other advantages which will pay off in the longer term
It's normal that the conditions are not the same. And I've never felt the slippage (heavily)
I'm curious, what advantages do futures props have over cfds?
@@WebStixx0000 commissions per contract are normally only about two dollars per 100 hundred thousand or lower so much lower cost per round trip for trading futures like Gold oil and S&P 500.

Time limit is one way of making many traders to loose challenge. My funded fx will take over if the other firms don't change

Their dashboard need some major updates , absolutely no stats , conditions are avg wrt FTMO
The Trailing loss goes upto to the staring equity and then is Locked. so if you do 100k you start at 94k and when you get to 106k the drawdown is lock at 100k. it doesnt follow you and remain 6% behind u
Well thanks for the video time limit is not an issue. The issue is drawdown some new props are increasing drawdown specially daily drawdown.
2: issue is how the drawdown is calculated?
It's tricky and many caught by surprise because of its equity base nature!
Few firms started to have balanced based drawdown which is a luxury for trader. Because your best trades can give you some negative as well.
What will be the problem when the drawdown gets calculated on balance? The fact that you have to pay???? FFS

ill put it way : equity based drawdown sucks especially when your TD is only 8% but target is 10%

It might be helps for others, if you buy cheap account then review their spread, slippage, commission etc… just reviewing their website doesn’t make sense since everybody can see it, if they want. Hope that you will add some actual reviews with their evaluation account.

FTMO recently changed their minimum trading days from 10 - 4. You reckon they’re getting influenced by other prop firms?
Yes of course, but that’s a ridiculous change hahaha. Doesn’t do anything
No time limits on funding trading challenges is very good for traders who operate low risk profitable trading strategies.. time limits encourage gambling behavior and that is why many blow up their trading accounts and make these 'prop firms' extremely profitable..

@@KimmelTrading Oh, so the tales of "8 string loss" are true.. Probably that's why Drawdown in 8% and traders usually will put 1% per trade and when they get caught in 8 losses, they lose account & Prop firms make money.. interesting..

Tradeday is by far the best I’ve come across. One step evaluation. And the rules are very easy to follow. Profit targets are also easily achievable. I think 5%. It also has a end of day trailing draw down, not intraday. And unlimited time.

One question: would a profit split withdrawal be taken from the drawdown buffer (like in the case of The Funded Trader Plus where if you had initial balance of 100k and a profit of 10k if you would withdraw the whole profit the account would be violated) or would the drawdown buffer be recalculated like in the case of FTMO and MFF?
