Prop firms are necessary in the space and great for experienced traders who just need capital so I'm happy to see that they're sticking around
Prop firms are a huge step in the industry. traders are able to trade large simulated accounts where theycan work small percentages for long term profitability. I dont think prop firms will tank

Thanks for another great vid. I have been trying to wrap my head around how props make money? Is their sole source from people buying props or do they do some sort of copy trading? If it's only coming from the 90+% of losers buying challenge after challenge, then that is in no way a profitable business model. Profitable traders will continue to profit while buyers will dry up and move on. Look forward to some clarity! CHEERS!

i do think there will be rise of brokers offering evaluations in the future.. that is good for the industry since brokers are regulated and capital back business.. i know u can start a prop firm with little capital nowadays that is a primarily concern since they can deny u a payout or they will run your money..
Thank you for the update. It’s true, if you have the skill, you can make money. With or without prop firms.
that skill is so rare to be able to perform, few posses it, and even less can actually pull it off. Why? mindset. Traders want to believe that pattern trading or systematic trading is profitable, even if only under the right market conditions.. they think overall it makes money.. but then they cant do it.. because it doesnt make money. So it is just about taking GOOD trades, simply put, thats it. so the mindset of seeing patterns and expecting certain forecast or projection from the market is why all are doomed. When you can get past that, and SIMPLY, take good trades, you will then become instantly profitable.

FTMO is not gone, just not available to the US

Yeah I saw that 🤦♂️, going to try and get dual citizenship just to trade with these prop firms. But at least we know if they don’t service the US the US regulatory bodies won’t shut them down and they will be around for good

If you block us clients you don't have any issue with SEC. Look at crypto exchanges to see how the prop industry might be.

#propfirms to me are like trades. Some you will win and some you will lose. Just aim for the winners to outweigh the losers which shouldn't be too hard if you are a profitable #trader

Regarding Oanda…they don’t allow US traders at this time, unfortunately.
If not even an American based broker is offering a prop account for American clients it goes to show how unfavourable the prop firm environment is for American traders. I thought it would be possible for them to offer it and just not include anything that would get them in any trouble much like they offer their broker accounts to US traders such as no hedging etc. The prop firm space is getting more discouraging for US traders every month it seems.
What could be the trade copier that can be used between accounts using CTrader?

I loved you talking about focusing on your strategy and focusing on building your simple edge in the markets. Rather than chasing clout.
At the end it doesn’t matter what is there or isnt if you are not profitable nothing matters.
The only thing that matters is you constantly work towards being better and consistent.
Skill sets is in deed key. But trading with an evaluation firm that is shady kinda messes with your psychology. Imagine paying for an account. Passing and earning and not being paid at last. It affects.
Also check forex brokers, they have also scammed million of traders until now and one of the biggest problem with them is that they are good in deposits but really bad in withdrawals

This business model It's no problem. But the problem lies in not sending the real market to traders who have passed the exam. This caused expenses to increase as he withdrew his money many times.

Should I be worried as I live in the UK? If I just avoid US based prop firms won’t I be fine because it seems to me that the issue here is with the regulations on American prop firms since most European prop firms actually have to be regulated? Correct me if I’m wrong please.
Prop firms are'nt going completely away, but for traders based in the United States I'm betting the road ahead will be rough. Whats to say if the regulators went after mt4/5 that they would'nt do the same to other platforms that offer cfd trading which is banned in the US. I'm glad to see that this is not affecting other countries as much but for traders in the US its probably time to look for other sources of funding.
Before being profitable, we need to know which prop firm is reliable. The confidence level on prop firm is low now due to series of dramatic incidents over past few months
