The brackets these things come with are terrible. They don’t fit a niche. I found a place that sells some stainless arms that mount to the light. Hopefully I can just use those and not have to customize this bracket. However if I do, I’ll do something like you did. Nice job

life is short and there is an electric code for a reason don't do this.

The original was 110v AC in a pool! This replaces it with a 12v DC light. Much safer!
