How to Use a Bitcoin ATM

- One super convenient way to purchase bitcoin is with a bitcoin ATM. Here is a step-by-step guide!
Note: Regulations differ for ATMs depending on where you're based. In America, you need to provide a passport or phone number to your purchase (not a prepaid sim, but a number with a real bill) due to KYC restrictions. There are many places in the world where you can use a bitcoin ATM to buy bitcoin without and ID.
Huge thank you to Nick Spanos and the New York Bitcoin Center!

What is the best strategy to enter crypto trading now for someone with more or less than $1000 to invest?
You need a pro or very goodTrader. Someone like Stephany Reuben
Having an investment advisor is the best approach to the stock market right now. I was going solo without much success until my wife introduced me to Steph . I've achieved over 80% capital growth this year, excluding dividends.
Almost gave up due to constant losses, but Steph turned my luck around

That's cool but here in the seattle area you have to provide ID and employ the scanner to register the pattern of your scrotum. Then you can buy your bitcoins. I consider the whole procedure to be rather invasive so I never bothered to use an ATM over here. If I have to hand over my identity I'll just use Abra. The fees are a lot lower.
@@NaomiBrockwellTV
Hah, I may have exaggerated a bit, about the scrotum thing. I'm just not a fan of handing my ID out to everyone. That's why I never made a twitter account. Enough is enough.
I’m running into this same problem

Keep it simple in the beginning. Buy something, like an index fund, and hold. Educate yourself in the meantime and elevate your risk tolerance over time.
@@alisaidu1221 In order to make profits from trading you need loads of experience and a well defined strategy, which most traders don't have. If you trade without the proper preparation, you're most likely to lose your money. Identify the buy/sell ratios and identify the market leaders and most importantly.

Glad to see the return of the bitcoin center. Never visited the original location back when it was open, but will swing by this time for sure. Nice to still see nick here for the long term - a true believer.
Nick is great :) The old location was 🔥🔥, I'm just happy to see a bitcoin center at all after the bitlicense drove all crypto out of the city
Visited in late 2013. Is it stiil a few doors down from the ÑY stock exchange?
Last year, I had to go to Jersey to use an ATM BTC .
Eachtime i tried to put my French cellular number, it didn’t take it because no option allowed to enter a foreigner number...
I tried one ATM in Soho, I guess it was maybe at the adress you recorded this video and it didn’t worked for the same reason.
I was glad to finaly found one that didn’t care from where I came from and allowed me to take out some cash ...
oh that's disappointing about the foreign numbers not being accepted. Generally you can buy prepaids sim cards pretty easily, might be helpful to source one the next time you travel.
Naomi Brockwell I am going to New York on December, i might try it ...
Thanx Naomi.
There are a lot of business opportunities presented on bitcoin ATMs... most of the btc bought by fiat on these ATMs are from private wallets and certain people, myself included .,make profits in continuum from the daily transactions.
Being in the right place at the time I guess. I connected with a blockchain analyst on LinkedIn whose been actively involved in keeping me abreast with the information needed every bit of the way. You can contact him for more info on juliobernalofficials@gmail*com He’s open to anyone as long as you’re not a jester. Be sure to leave a message saying you got in contact with me so not to think you’re a spam.
I know Dr Julio. Great guy!! He’s consulted and helped my financial problem since I started working with him. Investing in this business is the best thing that anyone with the right capital should go for. Unlike bitcoin mining or trading that leaves you with no transparency or control over your investment.
I think you lost me on "enter your phone number". why do they need a phone number? Even if I can buy a prepaid phone I don't understand why that is necessary?
Nice vid Naomi.. The Atm has a camera and so far as I know still ask for ID. Or at least the ATMs from west coast bitcoins.. Ether way you can be identified. I still think the best way to get bitcoin without identifying yourself is to mine long term trough a VPN .
Interesting.
This atm didn't ask for an Id, we walked through all the steps on camera. Some ATMs might, but many don't as far as I'm aware. Agreed that mining is probably the best way
SO what happens after you put the $ in? How do you spend and on what? Does it let you make withdrawals? So much more info is needed
I would like to know to. As I'm starting tomorrow and I don't want to screw myself up. Help please
Seems you have zero knowledge about crypto trading ..I would advice you to get an expert who will trade and monitor it for you... People use ATM’s to get cash. People get bitcoin from an ATM for inputting cash? Just meet a cool local bitcoiner and boom, ATM.
Alwsys swipe the funds off of the paper wallet supplied by the ATM. One can not trust that the machine isn't making a copy. Just sayin....
Great point, I should have stressed that rather than mention it as an option
Can you use a debit card or does it have to be cash

Brilliant stuff Naomiii!! 😍 !!! Buy Sound money people!!!! ⚡️⚡️⚡️

I don't understand nothing
Really because it's simple af
So basically these machines take your perfectly spendable money you can use everywhere, subtract a hefty fee, and give you digital currency you can’t spend everywhere that is apparently just as easy to steal as cash, and the only proof it even belongs to you is some sort of password into a digital wallet, which probably also charges fees.
Who does this actually benefit, other than people who own or invest heavily in Bitcoin companies? Honest question.
People who want to remain anonymous when buying bitcoin? People who don't want to give out their identity to big businesses. Bitcoin is useful for a some things that cash isn't. Also if you lose your bitcoin after buying it from an ATM then its your fault for losing your paper wallet.
its for ppl who wanna hide their purchases. think illegal activities
But can I cash out my crypto at the ATM also
I'd like to sell those in NJ
Can I make two or more consecutive maxim Bitcoin purchases on a bitcoin ATM? Ya know, like buy the max, stand there and do it again?

How do you get paid, so you can buy bitcoin? You may not need a bank on day, but until your job starts paying out in bitcoin, you will be paid in fiat or direct deposit
Earning wages in Bitcoin is a lot more common these days, a large number of crypto businesses pay in crypto for example. There are also many crypto tip sites where you can earn money in crypto for the content you produce, like cointr.ee
Otherwise you will exchange fiat for crypto, the same way you would exchange USD for Yen for example.
Great video!
Thanks so much André :)
Should have thrown your hat and froze the frame at the end.

Yeah
Are you intentionally trying to deceive people???? I'm CALLING Bull on this video. Your Video is CLEARLY showing that you do NOT need an ID and can do this with a Pre-Paid Phone - yet in your description you CLEARLY say that you CANNOT use a PrePaid Phone due to KYC restrictions. You need to make it clear that ALL Bitcoin ATM's In the USA will require SOME SORT OF KYC. PERIOD! I have yet to find one that does not. You made it seems as though this ATM did not require KYC.
where is the address of ATM
NY bitcoin center, Prince st, Soho
@@NaomiBrockwellTV thank 🙏
cute hat :)
GREAT...Now I'm more confused...will use western union instead
It’s really not that confusing... and if you don’t understand something don’t just give up! Bitcoin ATMS work very simply. You make a request to buy bitcoin at an atm for a price of fiat currency (US Dollars/CAD). You then insert your currency into the machine and it will give you a Paper wallet which stores the bitcoins you just purchased with your cash. If you want to make your paper wallet safer, transfer your bitcoin off the paper wallet and into a hardware or software wallet, which will make you successfully transfer your cash into bitcoin safely, securely and anonymously.
