I was lucky enough to live in Fulham for a good 6 months. Brings back so many fond memories re-walking down all these roads I once met during my brief time there. Sorry if this comes a bit late. The best way is to take the Stanstead Express from Stanstead Airport to Tottenham Hale station. From there you can take the tube (the underground), travelling on the Victoria line to Victoria station, and then the District line to Fulham Broadway.
I went to Beaufort house school in Lilley road and also sir John Lillie for a short time. Beaufort house is now flats next to the big hotel. I also remember that shop in the basement my friend lived in chesson road I'm 60 years old now I was about 14 then great memories. All the best.

north end road market is dead on its feet from what it was!
There's still some stalls there, but not the same as it was.
All socially engineered now sadly.
Ruined, from the station to the pubs, absolutely ruined in the name of progress.
