SA 101 is a traditional walking foot that can go forward and backwards and can be used with decorative stitches. The foot moves at the same speed as the feed dogs. The foot can be used on low shank machines with a 7 mm stitch width. Foot SA206 is a belt driven foot. You can independently adjust the speed of the foot to control difficult fabric. This foot was not designed to be used with many of the decorative stitches.
I just got my Dynamic Walking foot for my Brother Inov-is F420 and I love it. It is so quiet to compared to the * regular * Walking foot :)
I keep tweezers beside my machine. Use them so much.
Thank you for your help.
Thank you for the video demonstration. What is the difference between the dynamic walking foot and a regular walking foot?
The dynamic walking foot is heavier and you can purchase additional feet for it.
Thanks for the review. I am new to quilting so I wish I could have seen you bury the knot.
Texas Proud - I show this on a video published yesterday called Fall 2020 Quilt - Video 12
Will this work with the Luminaire XP2?
Thank you the video. Am new to quilting and trying to purchase this but having a hard time with ordering no price showing or not able to add to cart.
Contact Moore’s Sewing Center and they will gladly share the price with you.
What is the main advantage/difference between the SA 101 (left side) and the dual feed SA 206 (right side)? Thanks so much!

@@terrymaffitt4012 Great, thanks!
Why is this foot better than the SA206 for the Luminaire?
Can this be used on the Brother Dream Machine or the Dreamweaver?
Yes
Does it come with the long shank to short shank adapter or is that a separate item. I'm assuming this is for short shank machines..
bkswaff - this is a low shank foot. The machines like the Dream Machine and the Luminaire come with the S adapter.
Do you have a tutorial about how to attach s adapter. I can’ t seem to figure it out.
Ann Dilbeck - yes, go to the New Owner Series, Video 2. I show how to use the S adapter in that video. This is in the New Owner Playlist.
Is this for a Luminaire?
Ann Dilbeck - it will work on the Luminaire and other 7mm machines
