Oh wow, Maceo, Fred and Pee Wee together when Maceo still played sax! When he started to tour solo, he became more of a showman.
It is nice to hear and experience real music played by talented musicians instead of the chart dross that is being churned out. Bring this music back to the mainstream. We shouldn't have to go looking for it, it should be there for us.
Every person who's continously playing an instrument, inspired leraning through lifely music from real musicians gonna be a talentet virtuos.

What a shame! That concert was up on yt for I think almost 12 years, I mean the whole concert and that for free!! I started playing saxophone at that time and god where maceo (and the other band members as well) in this particular concert an inspiritaion! Listened to it like a 100 times or more. And now some german dude and his company apprently bought the rights to this an several other live vids and wants us to subscribe to his website and pay for it...what a loss.

I recomend to you if you haven't to watch Van Morrison live at Montreux 80, Pee Wee Ellis is just great in that concert, I love Pee Wee Ellis!

My opinion or the friend Western greatest trombone play I ever heard , you don't see many people playing trombone I was wondering if they were afraid of it because it has no keys and has a slide and you have to know where your notes are amazing your Parker who could ever forget it his lead playing JB's I wish you Brothers the best your music is sincerely appreciated.

This is one of my all time favourite live vids - it’s everything a performance should be, and like so many others I’m gutted that the end isn’t on here anymore. It’s been too long since I heard that “I’ve been… reeeeeeeeallly trying”
