Samson (Michael González), the legendary strongman and hero of the tribe of Dan, is betrayed by his wife Delilah (Aurora Martin) and imprisoned by his enemies, the Philistines. Blinded and in chains, Samson is alternately taunted by his nemesis Harapha (Raphaël Laden-Guindon) and supported by his friend Micah (Allison Gish) and his father Manoah (Taras Leschishin) as he grapples with his fate. Can Samson muster one last heroic act before his tragedy is complete?

This is a interesting performance but is neither full, about a third of the music is missing, or an opera and I think shows why this musical masterpiece contrary to a number of Handels other dramatic oratories is not given at the opera. There is to little dramatic action to capture an audience as far as I am concerned.
