Hey Besties!! I am using the digital version of The Budget Moms Budget By Paycheck Workbook. Here's the link if you are interested ▶ budgetbypaycheck.com/
Yes hang in there! I'm a single mother of 14 and 17 year old sons. Been on my own with them since they were 6 and 8! I've been to hell and back but still standing! Sending prayers your way!🙏🏽❤️
I am currently single mother of 3 kids under 5 and 2 of them about to start daycare. I totally understand. I am very focused on where my money goes at this time. I have cut non essentials as much as possible. I am also working at increasing my income and bring more money in. It's not easy. Take it one day at a time. Sending you prayers and love. You got this mama ❤
I love that you stated, "Im not afraid of Autopay". The issue of being scared is like you said, the fact that you can not get the money back if you want to spend it on something else. Good information, thank you for your help.
Like you said in a previous video, one way to "make more money" is to give your budgeting approach a realistic look. Be honest with ourselves and "find" the "more money" we need in what we already have. This is not a quote but I think it's the essence of what you said. We have been doing exactly that and it works! Who knew? Oh, can you comment on how we should approach our tax refund? Ya' know, folks get all excited when tax refund time comes. I have already read the riot act to my husband as to what I want to do with ours. Thankfully, he agreed; haha.
Great video! My husband's health is failing and he is going to have to retire in July. I have been doing everything I can to prepare for that loss of income. Your videos are helping me so much. Thank you.
I have been struggling with this so much. I'm so tired of living paycheck to paycheck. I just stumbled upon this video in hopes that it helps me out more. I don't make no more than 2200 a month and that's still not enough to cover everything. That's not including having to buy groceries. Im a single mother of 1 and it's just so hard.
Thank you for keeping it real. Being honest and making this truthful. Helping all of us in every situation. I look forward to all of your videos. I don’t always comment but I watch every video. When I can I binge them. Love you Bestie.
Excellent topic! It happens to everyone usually at the worst possible time. For a gift to subscribers how about an extra video about a topic that most think is money taboo? Example many people won't talk about money at all let alone debt or other bad financial situations. Maybe how to talk to someone about getting help and a list of where to go to get educated on money or help? Any taboo money topic that would shine a light on money issues. Just an idea that all your besties can benefit from. Thanks for the video.
You are giving us something that giveaways can't, and that is knowledge. Keep putting out that content. I actually wish it was more than what you do now, but I won't be greedy. Thank you for allowing the Lord to use you in such a tremendous way.
I love your videos Jazmine! So SO pleased at the end you talked about lowering expenditure rather than over budget so you have a minus budget. I follow YNAB’s methodology (which is also a zero-based, envelope system only I budget digitally!), which means if you only had $130 left, that’s all you should budget. Lower grocery bill for a coupla weeks, try to go out less to conserve gas etc. it’s tough, but it’s the only way to go to stop sliding into further debt. I had $50K in consumer debt at one point (yes, really) but switched to YNAB in 2014 and have been debt free (aside from mortgage and car) for 10 years, but we’ve travelled to Rome, regularly go to gigs etc. it has literally changed my life! ❤
You read my mind! I have this issue sometimes and I'm still waiting on my budget planner so I can follow along. That is crazy, I recently had this happen.
@@BudgetTreasures For my bills, I decided to put either $10 or $20 in each envelope that I couldn't fulfill the whole amount that I needed. And for my big bills like school bill, and rent I had to cover those amounts. When it comes to not having the planner, I just write down all my bills, and split the full amount and I use envelopes and stuff them.
Thank you for sharing! Also don’t be afraid to look for food giveaways. There are many that don’t have any requirements. I’ve used them when things were thin and they are a blessing.
I watched four of your videos back to back and I am so happy I found you! You helped me understand budgeting steps and systems that works for me and family as a single mother of 4. I feel like I can succeed now! A new bestie is subscribing ❤
Hi there. I want to say thank you. I am buying a house by myself and for the first time. I'm obviously scared sheetless, but I'm also a cash budgeter and have a very nice cushion/E-fund but for some reason I'm psyching myself out. Watching this video has reminded me that i live comfortably on the budget i am on. I have already created a budget for things once I move in, so I know that I need to tinker with it if I'm concerned. You reminded me that there are so many cheaper options available to me that I can start taking advantage of now to continue saving. Even if you only put $5 towards household cleaning, "Comet still works". Selling any valuable items that have no use to me anymore for a little extra cash is also easy... Thank you. 🙏
Came in just in time. It's My current situation but hopefully i'm getting through it in the positive and everything covered. God bless everyone that watch your videos.
Bestie, I literally love you and the community! Keep creating content, watching your videos give me inspiration and keeps me focused when I wanna quit.
I agree with everyone I just want more videos you always inspire your one of my absolute favorites you always keep it real and that why I will always come back ❤
I can’t tell you how many times I have wrote that exact line in google. BUT NO MORE.. I am following along, doing my best and really getting my eyes open to my habits at this stage. I am working the No spend Challenge , including writing the affirmations your helping us with. I have had some slip ups, but am gaining awareness and that is a goal in its self.
Good Evening...We are a single income family of 5 I've tried and failed to make a budget. One of my biggest struggles/failures is that bills come out on set dates....i'm paid bi-weekly but those dates change every month...there are some months where the first pay is between the 10th thru the 14th depending on the calendar which there have been some months that I've had to pay bills late or else we'd have no money for up to a week I'd welcome help/suggestions on how to budget when my pay is different each month some bills are due the last week of the month...the vast majority are within the first 2 weeks of the month
I'm low income and just trying to stay above water. I made bad financial decisions in the past that I'm still paying for, but I'm starting my budgeting already. It feels overwhelming, but I know I can do it!!
ADT will not let you out of your contract without paying. BUT, they will reduce the amount of the servicing fees to give you time regroup. They have also given grace periods.
Great video! Looking forward to your future videos about simple ways to make some extra cash, specially from home with a pc or phone. It’s something that really interest me. Something real and doable, not the stupid things and scams get go around
New to cash stuffing and liking your content 😀. I wish my car payment and insurance was $145. I’m in Florida and it all has tripled in the last 3 years.
Thank you for this video!! Also I could not find your video you mentioned The “different accounts “ you use for ( Mortgage- HOA- bill account) Can you link it below, so I can watch it? 😊
This video is right on on time. The next 3 months are going to be low. Luckily I put some cash aside last year knowing that this was coming but I’ll have to be super strict with my spending which is not my strong suit. Your car insurance is cheap compared to mine and it’s just auto. I’ve tried shopping around but the quotes are higher. My guess is until my credit score goes up I’m stuck.
I love your videos. I have a question....I noticed you never budget for entertainment or spending money (ie going to the movies, going to an event, purchasing an outfit for an event) or how you get your hair or nails done. Most certainly not on a paycheck that is tight but on your other paychecks that is not as tight. Can you speak to this?
Thank you so much ❤️ This is a great question. I don’t shop for clothes often since I started back on my journey I believe May of last year. There was a few times that I did not add in my budget and I “overspent” and went against my “no spend” and bought clothes. I show this on my no spend calendar and budget close-outs. Regarding my nails, hair, entertainment, etc. There are times that I do not have to pay for those things as they are gotten/paid for me ☺️ BUT when I do pay out of pocket, I do budget for it, mainly out of my side hustle budget. It wasn’t as structured and that’s something I realized. So. With that being said, this year I have sinking funds for these things and I will show me saving the money and spending it. But to be really honest. My #1 priority right now is getting rid of this debt. Lots of my money goes there. I don’t go outside much ❤️
I am paid hourly, I am the call in monster so I have an avg of what I’ll get paid, but not a set number. I actually get paid two days early on Monday and my paystub isn’t available until Tuesday. I do still plan for the average I make, but I can’t plan to the zero until I get paid. I know I should be going to work everyday, and it’s what I’m currently fighting my flesh on, outside that, would you have any suggestions for me? Please and thank you 🥰
