    Old Blue Ford
Didn't always know where we were going but we had faith
In Daddy and Jesus and everything always seemed to turn out the right way
Summertime camping trips, everything custom built, we had it made
Before driving away in the truck we'd stop to pray
Lord keep us safe from harm, always fed and warm and he came through
In God's country learning what we couldn't learn in school
No matter where we'd roam, it always felt like home
    Chasin the great outdoors
In the camper Daddy built on the back of his old blue Ford
We'd park by a lake or a pond somewhere we could catch a meal
He had a Coleman stove built into the wall, we ate like Kings
Campfires every night, all those gorgeous sites in our homeland
We saw the world and never had to leave Newfoundland
No matter where we'd roam, it always felt like home
    Chasin the great outdoors
In the camper Daddy built on the back of his old blue Ford
That old blue Ford with the wooden door
Takin us places we'd never been before
That old blue Ford with the wooden door
I'm stepping inside in my mind, I hear “Let's hit the road!” one more time
No matter where we'd roam, it always felt like home
    Chasin the great outdoors
In the camper Daddy built on the back of his old blue Ford
