To be honest having watched Glee Rachel's whole character has been just as mean or self-centered to all of the other characters. The others are only reacting to how much she gives them thinking she's better than everyone. Rachel Berry is awful.

Im sorry but in the beginning of the show Rachel was straight up bullied, yes she was annoying but calling someone awful names and throwing slushies at them is not the correct way to react to their personality being a little grating. Also Rachel was overbearing and awful sometimes but she was also the person who cared the most about the Glee club and the one who worked the hardest to be great and hone her craft. While that may be grating it doesn't make her an awful person, yeah sending someone to a crack house was her dumbest moment but she later made amends with that girl, throughout the show she made stupid decisions but ultimately showed time and time again she was a good person deep down who just wanted to be liked and respected.
The only thing I really loved about Rachel Berry is her relationship with Cory Montieth's character (may he rest in peace) on the show and in real life! And she does have an amazing voice as well as the whole cast!
