I still occasionally go back to the series just to watch that song as well as as the song with Rachel and Jesse, Listen to Your Heart. Which I think is my favorite performance in the whole series. The way Jesse comes back (again) and gives Rachel hope and love is perfect.

Phoenix De La Mer Yeah more this type of show I guess; the classic dramas like The Sopranos, Breaking Bad, etc were very enthralling and unpredictable, where Glee is just more fun.
I don't think you realize how much the vast majority of your audience is probably obsessed with Glee. We would absolutely watch you watch the entire series.

I think people nowdays don't understand how big this show was back then. I mean, not talking about reconds on charts and all the Emmys winnings, but Glee actually meant so much for a lot of people - me included. It makes me sad that now people only talk about the tragedies and the bad things, because once this show saved my life.
If you're a fan of Glee, I'm sure that when "Don't stop believing" started you instantly became emotional.

Kurt was not a character in the pilot script but actor Chris Colfer impressed the producers so much at his audition that they created the character for him - "Kurt" because they said Colfer looked like he had been in the cast of 'The Sound of Music'.
Some key insights if you decided to keep watching:
- your love/hate relationship with Rachel will continue on for many seasons
- you will often be wondering how they managed the production value for many of the performances they do in 'rehearsal'
- I hope you loved 'Don't Stop Believing' because it comes up many times again as their signature song!
- you definitely have the story plots figured out for the coming season(s) in respect of Rachel/Finn and the whole fake baby drama
- if you knew the story of the actor who played Puck, that whole non-trust vibe makes more sense!

Same, but I think ppl are being too hard on her considering she was a victim too. Way before glee club opened, she was repeatedly bullied and ostracized. I do hate a lot of her selfish moments but I just don't think fans are giving her fair treatment as opposed to other characters.

I think people tend to forget that Glee was literally written for Lea Michele. That's why Rachel got away with so much. Rachel Berry was created specifically for her. With no Rachel, there would have been no GLEE.

I had so much fun watching you discover Glee🥰 As a former choir kid, I absolutely loved it. Completely unrealistic, but such a fun show💖 Don't Stop Beleving is their anthem and it was a perfect choice for a bunch of high school singers.
Additionally, Corey Monteith comes from my home town and we all grieved when he died so young.

I played Adelaide in Guys & Dolls in high school. It is a great play! I love Glee! I found it in my twenties after it had already finished airing, but I was obsessed once I watched the first episode! I’ve watched it like 5 times all the way through at this point. Gotta love how Hannah’s instincts were totally right about like everyone & everything on the show! 😂 you should totally watch more episodes! The last one could be cool. I’m trying to think of specific ones that you could watch. The Quarterback is a really sad one with a lot of emotion. It’s the episode right after the actor that played Finn (Cory Monteith) passed away. I break down every time I watch it.

I'm 35, watch this 1st episode of Glee when I was 32 cause I love musicals and also love to sing just think that I'm not that great. After that 1st episode, I had to download the whole series and ended up watching every episode in under a week. So I guess I can consider myself now a Gleek. Hope you'd try to watch the whole series.
