It doesn't matter since the files and instructions in every Windows 9x version are the same. The errors happened because the 9x dlls, executables, cpls etc. don't have the required instructions which XP is looking for.

my chinese GPS runs windows CE and it looks mostly like windows 2000 with a bit of windows XP in it and i use it as a pocket touch screen pc.
