One, it’s a designer brand, two, it’s made of the highest quality material and is sustainably sourced and ethically made, three, he has to make money back somehow. He talked in an interview about how after only paying the artists he only broke even with bludfest, everything else came out of his pocket. He paid his own money for us all to have bludfest (I didn’t get to go, but my point remains). I get that a lot of people can’t afford it. But people aren’t taking these things into consideration.
Also wanna add that he’s said it’s a dream of his to have a designer brand. I’m so happy for him to have this. I’m so happy he’s getting to live his dream.
What highest quality materials? Trousers and skirt are both 55% polyester. Mesh top is 100% nylon. Most of the stuff is just cotton. In socks there is polyester again. These clothes are very basic cuts so they are also cheap to produce, even when you pay a fair wage to workers. And what do you mean by ethical? Beanie is made out of lambswool so there goes that argument. I Like him but this is embarrassing
The timing of launching the brand was wildly out. Launching it at the same time as the affordable festival implies the brand is also for the festival goers and people will automatically tie it in with the same financial ethos. It needed to be launched at a completely different time to bludfest and much more made of Jessie's input. When I first saw the prices I was shocked, but when I realised she was involved, I understood the price point. I could save up for the jacket over a few months, it would be a higher priced item in my wardrobe and therefore I would look after it. It would be a treasured piece and that's the point. I support his continued creative growth and experiments, even tho I am not a fan of jessie or chrome hearts. The man is allowed to branch out however he sees fit
I appreciate this video. I like that you obviously love Dom but you are also honest. Personally, I do love a lot of the brand/line. I do agree that some looks like merch just with bumped up prices. I couldn't afford any of the brand. I do think that with how much he puts out he wants things to be affordable and for all he should keep that in mind with the brand. In my opinion, it would be awesome if he came out with an affordable brand that had no influence except for his own. Hopefully you will show us whatever you end up buying from the line. I think that would be a cool video as well.
I am yungblud fan have been following him since weird! But there is absolutely no way these prices are fair on people it’s disgusting especially for the fans of him who can’t afford it because I know the die hard who can’t afford it would absolutely love to have these stuff he needs to definitely address this or at least drop the prices the guy is a millionaire and he is putting these prices and he then says he wants to make it affordable for everyone then does this bit strange and also the clothing looks very basic and lazy looking no Effort put into at all 🤨also great video keep it up your on a roll banger after banger at the moment 🖤
the thing i think fans need to realise is that this is a designer clothing brand and that Dom needs to make some of his money back and that not everything he does is gonna be cheap and accessible to everyone but i do completely agree that it’s a bit overpriced
Chrome Hearts as a brand is exclusive but is a generic rock and roll brand that any celebrity can wear, and be cool. BRAT screams Yungblud so it gets confused as merch, even if it’s very good quality. 🤷♀️
I've been comparing it to dropdead when explaining it to ppl n feel like it's a far more in-line comparison than chrome hearts, but do agree and think even tho it's quality it's taking the piss a bit bc idk exactly who it's for/who'll buy it at those prices, it's highly pricey for us fans, and tbh idrk what/why famous ppl would buy and wear it
It's expensive, but if there was something I liked I'd have seriously considered buying it, but nothing really grabs me. And the black long sleeves is giving Westwood rip off sadly
I have bought a mesh top because I liked the design but I still don't agree with the price And I am wondering what the quality is going to be like and how it arrives Also I wonder how long the brand is going to last

Poor old rich Dom

@@odyssey_healing_journey you’re right about the poor timing of the launch.
I don't think these two understand that yb audience does not have the same budget as chrome hearts audience.

Well the lad gave us a fucking festival for 49 quid so quit complaining 🖕
Thank you and agree with so much of this🖤🖤

Completely agree, love the brand it’s just a bit steep

If you bought an authentic kilt, which is what the skirt looks like, they are mega expensive as they are made with pure wool
Skirt is 55% polyester, 45% wool.

Yeah kuz that fest I went to was like half prife of doze
It's expensive, but if there was something I liked I'd have seriously considered buying it, but nothing really grabs me. And the black long sleeves is giving Westwood rip off sadly
So why gave you bought some of it in the end if you think it is too much for yungblud fans? Is this not too over hypocritical?
I have bought a mesh top because I liked the design but I still don't agree with the price
