Hi nice to see your honesty and openness about Yungblud. I'm a new fan and love everything I've heard to date. He has a real talent and can turn to any style of music and it will sound good. Not only did he smash I was made for loving you but so many comments have said it is better than the original. Being a fan of his isn't just about the music tho it's about feeling a connection with him. I think he still has a lot to bring to the industry and like you can't wait to see what comes next ❤
I think it's great that you've had such an amazing year so far. I understand you being wary. I'm hoping for a great one. I really like his cover songs. Linger is actually my favorite cover he did and I somehow love it a bit more than the original. I thought he shined on stage with The Offspring. I do get what you mean by hoping he puts out more songs that are completely him. There are times were they don't feel completely him. If you get what I mean. Glad he's taking a break. He needs one. Excited for more Dom in the future and more videos made by you!
I started listening to Yungblud with Breakdown. I know, where have I been for 5 years?!?! 😂 I loved the drum and bass rhythm and he looked so good running down the streets of London, I thought “I’ll give this Indie musician a follow” hahaha. Proof I’ve lived under a rock since leaving London in 2016. As a new fan, discovering his catalogue, I wouldn’t say his music “decreases” as much as “changes.” To be a long term fan of Yungblud, it might take an eclectic taste in music. To me, the beauty of his music is how he has crossed and mashed up genres from the past 50 years. I love the idea of a new take on a “rock opera.” I also have to say that his acoustic versions are phenomenal. He’s got an amazing voice and you can really hear it in the acoustic versions. He’s got the voice to give Ted Neely and Andrew Lloyd Webber a run for their money but maybe it will be something like the concept albums of Led Zepplin, or who knows…? I love Don’s public persona so I’m willing to give anything he puts out a chance. I personally hope for more acoustic and soaring vocals. A well earned break…I’ve been thinking that Dom has been working way too hard…a tour…a festival…a book…film soundtrack single..a fashion label….a new media interview every single day? That’s a lot. That said…I hope he’s just finishing the mixing of the new album and isn’t away too long, because he’s put so much into building momentum and his fan base. Either way, I’ll still be here. I’m here for whatever shape the new album takes. Another great video, Will. Always enjoy your take on Dom’s work, and love leaving you a comment. Hope we will meet one day at a Bludfest. Happier's actually my favourite out of the songs you mentioned, but I agree about When We Die, the version that's just him is so much better, and makes the song make more sense with it
I’ve got to disagree. Personally, I think ‘when we die (acoustic)’ is one of the strongest songs that dom has ever done, the main riff is beautiful, the crescendo of the drums at the end was perfect. I think only low point of that song was the noticeably low effort verse from yachty. It looks like the album is going to be a very 70’s prog rock inspired album and I think that’s great, it’s a very, very different direction for him and one that I think has been needed. YB3 was very hit and miss, there was great songs like Funeral, Tissues, DFLFST but overall all it was heavily overproduced and a bit all over the place. From what I’ve seen Dom say, it looks like this next album is going to redefine yungblud as an artist and what he sounds like and I can’t wait to see what is next. I think a lot of newer fans will be put off by it because it’ll probably create a world that you’ll need to dive in to, really digest and repeat to get the full meaning and I don’t think newer fans will be up for that. Belter video mate, keep it up 👍🏻
My understanding from interviews and everything he's talked about, all his singles Lowlife, Happier, Breakdown etc. were one and done. He had the idea = put out the song. I believe the album is going to be completely different.
I think we can all agree, we LOVE YUNGBLUD
I love anything he does with his music, you can tell her is well diverse in it.

*I meant Pink Floyd, not Led Zepplin.
I love your videos!!! And I'm looking forward to the next Yungblud record!
