We loved Fort George , cute pet cemetery to. We cycled from Culloden CMC site via the airport for plane watching :) . We can't help ourselves, thanks for sharing H and M
Stirling Castle I think is slightly better than Edinburgh.... Love it!

We lived 40 miles from Fort George but visited only last year. My neighbour used to be the Head Gardiner at Crathes. Lived near Beeston as a kid LOL Thank you

Had a feeling Chirk Castle would be on the list. We visited last year and thoroughly enjoyed the visit with our Cocker Spaniel Cooper. Great day out and even better when you're National Trust members. 😊 We got some really nice local Ales in the shop on the way out! 🍺
Knew Beeston had to be in there being so close to you. I love Eilean Donan Castle on Loch Alsh on the west coast near Skye. Cheers K.
